Sound interresting... can you explain a little more, eg. post a picture, details about the particular watermeter type/make/model of the sensor?

Where do you get the 8V from?
I got the same sensor, but it didn't work with 5v.

While I'm at it, I understand the resistors, but what capacitor do I need for this?

@Hesmink
8volt is from a ac/dc chinese adapter...because 5v is too low for the sensor.

@Hesmink
a 100 nano farad capitor is ok

Great job. Need to look at the script and see if i can use it with my type of watermeter.
In combination with my PI and to be P1SmartMeter Reader.

I have connected the sensor according to the diagram of abc1000. It seems to work well.
How do I use the added pythonscript? Is there somekind of manual? How do I integrate it in domoticz? Can someone put me on the right track?
