Device identification in script
Hello,
I have several ON/OFF switches, launching the same (bash) action script when turning on.
Question: What can I do, in the script, to identify the switch which triggered it ??
Take care,
Olivier

Thanks for the clarification. No worry, thus !MrHobbes74 wrote: ↑Wednesday 15 April 2020 12:49 Hi! Yes, the awake check is always done every minute. This doesn’t drain battery, and is the only api call that works during sleep and doesn’t wake up the car. I will add this to the wiki.

Re: Tesla hardware module
Hello, I have a question: The vehicle is home, I have set the "Active Interval" to 5 minutes: Capture39.JPG But, despite that, it looks like the "Tesla hw" is still polling the car every minute, as I can see from the log: 2020-04-15 11:03:25.456 Status: Tesla: Executing command: Get Awake state 2020 ...

Re: Tesla hardware module
OK, thanks. I will do that.MrHobbes74 wrote: ↑Sunday 12 April 2020 15:59 I did that. Not sure if it’s 100 meters but it’s a range around the domoticz location.
But still the easiest is to park the car home, get the location from the logging, and set that as home location in Domoticz. It solves all problems![]()

Re: Tesla hardware module
Perhaps you could consider that if the Tesla is less than xx (xx= 100?) meters away from the Domoticz location, it is home ???MrHobbes74 wrote: ↑Monday 06 April 2020 19:43 The location problem you can solve by changing the location in Domoticz settings to the location in your garage (e.g. what the Tesla indicates in the logging).

Re: Tesla hardware module
Wonderful !
Thanks to all those who worked on this !
Just two suggestions for future enhancements:
- Allow to set the desired charge limit
- Allow to set the desired internal temperature

Re: Watering garden script
Hi, Not so difficult ... I am using a Gardena system with 5 different irrigators that need to be activated one after each other (not enough pressure / waterflow to activate them all simultaneously, this is not the Versailles park!). To switch to ne next circuit, I just need to close/reopen the water ...

Hello,
@Fleshi: The syntax of the URL may vary, depending on the brand and model. Make sure you're using the right one.
There's a page on the topic on the Wiki:

Re: Any way to open a camera software application from domoticz?
Hi, This is how I did it: 1. Make sure that the "custom" tab is visible in Domoticz 2. Then go into ~/domoticz/www/templates and edit index.html 3. Insert in the file the URL for your Webcam: For me, it looks like : (depending on your camera, the URL might look differently!) <div id="cam1"> <h2 ...

Re: Script -Error - Returned: 256
Hi, The answer is above in this thread. You need an "intermediate" script which launches your lua sript with an "&" at the end of the command line to return to Domoticz without waiting. See my post of Sept 16 2015 and the post from jpinzon408 dated 21 Oct 2016. Rgds, Oliviers

Re: Recommended water valve
Hello,
Of course this is possible. But then you need to insert four "dry contact" relay modules between the transformer and your four valves, instead of just one wall switch module between the power outlet and the transformer. Modules such as Fibaro FIB_FGS-223, for example.

Re: Service stop after ethernet goes down
Hello,
I reboot my router quite often (these boxes supplied by ISP are so unstable and buggy !), but I never noticed that Domiticz exited ...
I must say that I assigned a fixed IP to my Raspberry PI.... Maybe that makes the difference ??

Well, 1. Go into "settings", and check "custom" in "Active Menus" 2. Store your web page in /home/pi/domoticz/www/template and modify index.html to point to it 3. Assign the right script ot http command to each of your buttons Your Web page will be accessible via the "Custom" tab in Domoticz. Does ...
