Re: Python Plugin: PiHole Control
Impressive, especially the blocklist control via timed switches adds functionality to Pihole via Domoticz, originally not available in Pihole itself. I like that!

Re: Z4D new version
And in addition to the reply of waltervl: the Z4D plugin is very lightweight for the cpu’s of my humble RPi with 28 other processes running. No need to install a MQTT broker and Zigbee2MQTT. Anyway, users have a choice and I am perfectly happy with Z4D.

Re: Z4D new version
…and I keep bringing the good news: just updated without any problems to 7.1.025 on RPi 4 running Bookworm and Domoticz 2025.2. Thanks for maintaining this Zigbee plugin. Without it, Domoticz would be useless for me.

Re: Domoticz version 2025.2 released (Fails)
First: thank you for this new release. It makes me happy that you continue working on improving Domoticz.
Just updated flawlessly via the web-update. I’m on Bookworm on my Raspberry Pi 4. Few Python plugins, and a handful of Zigbee devices.

Sonoff Temp sensor for outside
Hey all (and pipiche),
I just bought the new Sonoff SNZB-02WD with IP65 rating for outside use. I can confirm that this new Temp and rel.hum. sensor pairs and works perfectly with the Zigbee for Domoticz plugin i.c.w. the Sonoff dongle E.
Just to let you know. Maybe more of you are looking for ...

Re: Best setup for smarthome
Oh, I am relieved! The pic on the link you previously included said ‘12 V’, therefore my worry and slight panic.
I am happy that replacing the sd card did the trick!

Re: Best setup for smarthome
You must be joking, right? I sincerely hope you’re not using that 12 volt power supply for the Raspberry Pi, which needs 5 volt only!
By the way, the reply of Waltervl was spot on.
And Sjonnie2017 is referring to an NVME SSD and not to mmc memory.
I wish you all the best with your setup.

Re: DomoticZ updates
Thank you for clarifying this, I will update soon to the most recent beta. With that, I end my part in this discussion. Don’t tell the millions of software developers out there, that beta is the new stable, though.

Re: DomoticZ updates
This is só contradictory and in contrast with good/common practice! One of the reasons you should not stay on the stable for too long.
I absolutely love Domoticz and promote this software as much as possible, but the view on Stable vs. Beta should really be reconsidered for the benefit of all.

Re: DomoticZ updates
In the past.
So, in the resent 3/4 years, can you mention a mayor change that was not backwards compatible?
That is not the point. Normal users hop from stable to stable version and should stay away from Beta versions. So, you can’t refer people to Beta versions and blame them for using the ...

Re: DomoticZ updates
Nope, but there is nothing wrong with the current beta.
We will soon rename the beta to stable if that makes you happy.
Maybe we should drop the whole idea of stable/beta and our betas are solid
Then drop it. It’s quite unusual to treat beta as normal or stable, unless it is. Then better call ...

Re: HomeWizard Wi-Fi P1 Meter does not show power usage of phases
2024.7 (most recent Stable) doesn’t solve the issue as mentioned by the OP. And 2024.6 is not that old.

Re: update from 7.1.020 to 7.1.021
Thank you (once more). That helped. I still don't know what went wrong, but I didn't want to experiment myself too much, because I was afraid of loosing all my Zigbee settings. Now I'm on 7.1.021 and all my devices are still in place and functioning.

Re: update from 7.1.020 to 7.1.021
Is it maybe relevant that I updated from hotfix 7.1.020 and not from the regular 7.1.019?

update from 7.1.020 to 7.1.021
Pipiche, these days, I've bad luck updating my Z4D plugin. I was on 7.1.020. I tried both the WEB UI update and via the command line as per Z4D wiki. Both tries failed. Text file 'updateprocess' with errors are attached. The cli-commands that I used are in the first two lines of the attached file ...
