Re: Easiest way to migrate Openzwave to ZWave-JS-UI
Hi All,
I took the giant leap to switch from OZW to ZwaveJS
Took a lot of time/wprk to get all the device well named and replaced with the old devices
Looks all is well.
The only thing i've noticed is that after a restart of domoticz or ZwaveJS the reaction time in Domoticz for the switch is ...

Re: Log Errors @ Mitsubishi WF RAC Airco with LAN (HTTP) interface
The issue is that sometimes it looses its wifi connection.
Nothing you can do about it
If you really want to, there are ESP32 projects to control the aircons, or you can buy a zigbee IR controller and place this near every aircon.
Thx for your answer @gizmocuz
Then it's something i have to ...

Re: Zwave Controller error (Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU)
Nope, sometimes days nothing happens.
Then at a sudden out of the blue some nodes have a timeout with sometimes also the node 255 pops up.
Have been setting up all devices three times which seems logic but didn't help.
Last 14months i also have trying replacing plugs and other devices to be sure it ...

Sounds promising, care to share your scripts?
I expect my newly won Digoo SB-XYA Smart video doorbell this week.
Want to integrate it in Domoticz, maybe your way gives me a headstart

Re: Domoticz on Raspi or something else
How many devices are we talking?
As for your staff, are they all using the system or is it just twice a day to switch on/off light?
As for me (household) a RPI3 with 40 z-wave several 433mhz devices several Lua scripts and running it's root on a unpowered hdd is rock stable.

But for me personally ik like it this way.
I did too. Had it working, but then something happend, and I lost access to the harddrive. Going to try it once again one day.
Strange... Only thing i can think of is that you didn't use the UUID but folder like /dev/sda in cmdline which can ...

Re: [TUT] Moving OS/Domoticz to external HDD using UUID / PARTUUID (Pi2+/Pi3)
Thank you very much for this tutorial. It works perfectly for me but I didn't have the same original cmdline.txt and fstab file as you. But no problem I have been able to adapt it to my case.
Also, it would be perfect if it should be possible to boot directly on the external drive and completely ...

What is the response you get in domofence? Do you use https?
Don't use https and response is as expected when pressing the test button.

Assuming you all are talking about Apple products.
On Android the the Domoticz and Geofence for domoticz didn't work as aspected.
Those two report more often not then it does report.
So took the good old Tasker App and wrote a simple task for a radius of 200m.
It works like charm... Can you ...

Re: Geofence for Domoticz
Thx for the tip but my password doesn't contain any upper characters.
Just plain characters met some in tab.
Some investigation steps I thought of:
- You could check the domoticz logs to see if the requests reaches the domoticz server?
- If your wife is outside of the geofence, does the ...
