Re: Two primary controllers with the same nodes ?
Thank you. I’ve been reading a bit more about Z-wave and domotics networks and I’m beginning to doubt whether my approach is a good one. I’ve tested more with the Nodon Soft Remote (with the UZB unplugged) and the Fibaro wall plugs and noticed that the plugs do not always respond to the on/off comma ...

Re: Two primary controllers with the same nodes ?
Well, I got it to work. I added the Nodon Soft Remote to the Z-wave network and then used Domoticz to set the 4 buttons to "mono" rather than "scene". Next, I made association groups: added the 2 Fibaro wall plugs to 2 different groups (buttons) of the Nodon. The Nodon now can control the wall plugs ...

Re: Two primary controllers with the same nodes ?
Both options with the Raspberry Pi look good (as a newbie I did not think of that). The wifi at the nursing home is a bit crappy, so maybe the master/slave option would be a good choice. Master/slave does not use wifi, right? This afternoon I'm going to pick up the Nodon and try the association ...

Re: Two primary controllers with the same nodes ?
@Egregius: Thanks for your reply. The point is that Domoticz and thus the Z-wave stick must be on the eye control computer. The eye control program communicates directly with the Domiticz back end on port 8080. I went through the Nodon Soft Remote manual again and I think maybe association groups ...

Two primary controllers with the same nodes ?
This may seem like a stupid question, so I will use some text to explain the reasons. My daughter is severely handicapped, her only way to communicate is through an eye tracker (Tobii Communicator). It’s a Windows 10 device with an eye movement tracker and special software. By looking at tiles on t ...

Re: Domoticz does not see device in Aeotec Z-stick
Thank you very much, Bigted. I selected the wrong hardware type. With OpenZWave USB It sees the wall plug and the Z-stick: http://www.dropbox.com/s/2bhfxm84eu5fmly/hardware.JPG?dl=0 But now I have a follow up question. After adding the node, I get six new devices: http://www.dropbox.com/s ...

Domoticz does not see device in Aeotec Z-stick
Dear all, My setup is a Windows 10 system, an Aeotec Z-stick Gen5 and one Fibaro wall plug. The issue I have is that Domoticz does not “see” the wall plug. Here’s the chain of actions that I did: 1. Added the wall plug to the Z-stick (press button on Z-stick until blue ring flashes, then press butto ...
