Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
Don't get me wrong, cause I might seem to be "just complaining" about Domoticz, but I'm more than VERY HAPPY about Domoticz! Did some real fun projects in the past couple of years, for example measuring waterpressure, waterflow, and above all waterlevel in our 18 meter deep 200 year old well. Have a ...

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
right, well I guess if you can't fix it, I certainly won't be able to as well! Not that much of a programmer and certainly not up2date with limitations etc. Too bad though, it looks like a simple 'forgotten issue' but not.

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
Nice ideas! but I'm in for something new and curious how things are organised in OpenHAB. (about NL-EN it is of course no "problem" at all, it's just that I often wonder, am I the only one seeing this? Like Windows2.0 had a bug it copied the last file from a list first, and then the rest. Leaving ...

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
but don't get me wrong : I have done (thanks to chatgpt's assistance in python programming) some great projects with Domoticz; Like network statistics of my lan by pinging my grasbot that sits on the opposite side in the network and -by chance- appears to display perfectly the latency in the network ...

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
What bothers me more even, is that combined sensors like THB (temp, humidity, pressure abbriviated as bar (another totally unlogic thing to do, if you use bar the abbriviation should be C%B (but hey who am I to judge))), that have therefor split their two displays in one tab 'Temperature' and one ...

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
Thanks for thinking along with us here Willem, but as you can see in my post where I display the room named "all meteo" which groups all sensors according to my preference, it is exactly what you described
Never mind, always good to know you're solving things too, cheers Erni

Re: more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
yes I can imagine adding user selections to the existing prescribed sections, would impact the webgui. However I do not see why weather sensors are considered "utilities" :D (how many solar radiators do you have at home? ohw at least four of them.... haha) . 2025-03-21 Domoticz all meteo sensors ...

more options for sensors to appear in the dashboard
I hope I'm not kicking in an open door here, but may I suggest an improvement that I'm sure makes daily viewing of Domoticz better? -> What I would highly appreciate is the option to not only mark a sensor to appear as favourite in dashboard, but also in which subsection and if it consists of ...

How are translations of Domoticz organised?
I'm quite sure that I once subscribed at Domoticz to volunteer as translator to dutch, but I never got any confirmation or invite to do anything at all. Can be that sufficient volunteers are available, can be that translations (to dutch or maybe all languages) have stopped, since Chatgpt can do a ...

Re: Visual Crossing embeddedscreen Weather Forcast not working
https, but if I chose http it gets redirected immediatly to https, and there's FF of course warning me for this incredibly dangerous site by ipaddress 192.168.44.111 that gets no credit to be addressed as https and so I need to add a security exception, pfffffff. I get so sick of all this security ...

Visual Crossing embeddedscreen Weather Forcast not working
Am I the only one seeing this? Cause it's already weeks that this error occurs but I don't see (yet) any remarks here on the forum. The sensors still work okay, but I get the impression that Visual Crossing is no longer permitting its pages to be embedded in other sites. Meaning the button as such ...

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
I might not have used to right term here, I ment that what I see at home is a raspi4 with fresh Domoticz v2024.7 and then of course restored database so not to loose years of statistics. The blockly scripts were written in the previous version of Domoticz so my guess is, that if development can't ...

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
Well it is not browser related, I mean FF and Edge (both up2date) show this problem so how come developers are not able to reproduce this? It looks to me most people have this problem BUT it starts only to appear if you have more than one Blockly script. That might be a reason it stays hidden ...

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
The only way to work around this problem (apart from waiting for a patch or update of Domoticz 2025.x) is : In the script pull each block with a variable in it that is unreadable by its puzzlepiece header, pull it aside and drop it back into its original place. The second you drag it out of its ...

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
I discovered that F5 only works for the last edited script, or the last one in the list. If you rename your targeted script in order to get it to the end of the list and press F5, suddenly the order of well-presented script is not the last one in the list anymore. Weird !!! The only work around I ...

Re: Tabs with camera <explanation diy page>
In the post above, 6 photos were originally preloaded, but since code size was so long, the refresh functions etc are only shown for photo1. Sorry fot the dutch texts, no time to replace that with English. Simply repeat the functions where you'd like to have photo2, photo3 etc... Hope this will help ...

Re: Tabs with camera
Too bad nobody of the Domoticz team really responded to this topic! Personally I think in this time/age with cameras everywhere, Domoticz clearly gets behind in adapting to cam views in its layout. The only thing you can have is a small icon added to a scene (in tab 'groups') or to switches (and ...

Re: IP Webcam AND motion detection for ImperiHome = have a cake and eat it too
What I regret to see in all themes of Domoticz so far, is that camera views are fixed in windowsize and must overlay the entire page, and therefore are always limited to one cam but WHY ? This forces you to stop watching if you need to continue operations on Domoticz, while that camera view is the ...

Re: IP Webcam AND motion detection for ImperiHome = have a cake and eat it too
You can try to use another theme. There are themes that can show a thumbnail of the camera on your dashboard. Like the Aurora theme https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Aurora_Theme and Machinon theme https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Machinon_Theme Hi again, I have managed to install the Aurora theme, added ...
