Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
The only way to work around this problem (apart from waiting for a patch or update of Domoticz 2025.x) is :
In the script pull each block with a variable in it that is unreadable by its puzzlepiece header, pull it aside and drop it back into its original place. The second you drag it out of its place, you can see the correction already. But as said before even if you save it in this corrected state, after re-opening Blockly your correction is gone. So if you work on multiple scripts in blockly, since v2024.7 Blockly HAS BECOME UNWORKABLE and so USELESS

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
The problem is nothing has changed for blockly in recent changes and also developers cannot reproduce this. So it is difficult to fix something if it is not broken for them.
So hopefully someone that has the problem and has web ui/css knowledge can dig into this and fix the problem.

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
Well it is not browser related, I mean FF and Edge (both up2date) show this problem so how come developers are not able to reproduce this? It looks to me most people have this problem BUT it starts only to appear if you have more than one Blockly script. That might be a reason it stays hidden?
Another reason might be this starts when importing scripts/database of the previous version (as most of us do after upgrading). So developers might not see this so quickly, working from scratch and not applying the software as real end users do?
CSS is a common factor between Blockly and the rest of the Domoticz software, so it would not surprise me the problem lies there somewhere. As usual security might also be an issue, since things keep on getting more and more tight. Embedding pages from other sites for example has now become a taboo and Visual Crossing's Weather Forcast in Domoticz no longer works, where I used to look daily. Such a downer all these limitations nowadays

More then 1 Blockly script? OK, that could be easy to test...ErnieFR wrote: ↑Friday 21 March 2025 8:38 It looks to me most people have this problem BUT it starts only to appear if you have more than one Blockly script. That might be a reason it stays hidden?

Importing scripts? I don think this should be needed after upgrading as the scripts are in the database and will be upgraded automatically.
Only when you upgrade your whole system including OS you can setup a fresh Domoticz install and import a backup database to continue.

Re: Blockly scripts display distorted
I might not have used to right term here, I ment that what I see at home is a raspi4 with fresh Domoticz v2024.7 and then of course restored database so not to loose years of statistics. The blockly scripts were written in the previous version of Domoticz so my guess is, that if development can't see this error so easily, the source of the problem might origin from this ?
