Hi
I am running on Ubuntu 24.02 and tried the standard update way and the ./updaterelease version.
Neither worked for me.
Than I tried the git pull way and make. That did not work as well.
I noticed, when checking the status, No address was show, like 8080 and 433.(what ever you use)

Domoticz version 2025.2 released (Fails)
Today I noticed the update version 2025.2 was available, and updated. (webpage)
Sadly, Nothing worked any more, no webpage or what ever.
The system was telling me that all worked.
Cleaning the browser cash, did not solve the issue.

Re: Python Zigbee plugin, deCONZ bridge (Using Conbee or Raspbee)
The latest Domoticz update just broke the entire connection.
Restoring from the oldest backup did not solve the issue.
Rebuild Domoticz (latest stable) and imported my latest backup.
Now all is running, only the deConz tab is still broken. (Empty)

Updates Brake deConz
Today I noticed that my Zigbee devices did not worked.
Went back with the oldest backup available. Hoever that did not work.
Reinstalled the latest stable version and luckily most was working again.
The deConz device tab is still broken. Not nice, but acceptable.

Re: Zigbee for Domoticz Plugin Installation
Thanks for the reply, I already suspected something like this.
There are conflicts between the dependency's.
Domoticz runs only on Ubuntu 20.04 and the Plugins on higher versions of Ubuntu.
Starting to docker compose is an options.
Not really the answer I was hoping for.

Zigbee for Domoticz Plugin Installation
After crashing my machine, I rebuild everything from scratch.
Started with Ubuntu 24.01 that did not work for Domoticz.
Reinstalled Ubuntu 22.04 and got it working, installed the Zigbee for Domoticz Plugin.
The installation gave me no problems, but the Domoticz version was not 100%.

Re: Domoticz Installation Fails Ubuntu 22.4 & 24.01
I have installed Ubuntu 20.04.
This time it was possible to install Domoticz.
I had to do some small tweaks, but Domoticz is now working on Ubuntu 20.04.
We have something to build on again.

OK, Good to hear, that the issue is known.
I have spend now 2 day reinstalling Domoticz, and not been success full.
After installing OpenSSL: sudo bash -c "$(curl -sSfL https://install.domoticz.com)" Worked.
I was able to connect the web page, but I think, still not 100% OK.

Re: Domoticz Installation Fails Ubuntu 22.4 & 24.01
I already installed libssl1.1_1.1.
The status of Domoticz was OK.
However: when I started Domoticz by hand, the message came:
version `OPENSSL_1_1_1' not found
I will try to install OpenSSL and see if things will work.
This means that two things are missing when you want to install Domoticz.

Domoticz Installation Fails Ubuntu 22.4 & 24.01
Hi,
I was playing around on my second machine, (experiment) and crashed the entire setup.
OK, no problem, just have to reinstall all.
However, that did not work. Neither for Ubuntu 22.04 nor 24.01
sudo bash -c "$(curl -sSfL https://install.domoticz.com)"

Strange function when you are hiding things for the only user.
After an update all is gone and you have to find back your hardware.
Sorry, I am lost.

Re: Latest update crashes domoticz
Hi,
I have done a restore, got Domoticz running again. (back to 14338)
However, many errors in the log file. Had to repair the Database.
Now everything is running as it should.

Re: A mini windows 10 pc to replace pi???
Hi,
I have bought a small NUC form computer: Beelink SII. (Celeron N4100 and 4GB memory and 32GB storage)
More than enough for Domoticz. I am running deConz, Domoticz, Pihole and Omada controller on this Mini PC
These mini computer work fine, they are roughly $ 250.
