Hi Waltervl,
I don't understand what you mean with "the config topic of a MQTT AD device"?
Can you elaborate?

Recreate selector switch with Zigbee2MQTT Auto Discovery
Hi, One reason why I have not moved my Domoticz tot the latest version is that I would need to move to Zigbee2MQTT Auto Discovery. The main issue I have with that switch, is that Z2M AD does not create selector switches, but new devices per state of the input device. In my examplte below I use a ...

Re: Good rain sensor solution
Did any of you get the Tuya RB-SRAIN01 / TS0207 sensor working in Domoticz? I received the sensor and updated my Z2M. The sensor is recognized perfectly in Z2M. However in Domoticz I only get 3 devices: Link Quality, Battery and Illuminance. Nothing more. Raining would be nice. I use the Domoticz ...

Re: dzHomeAlarm: dzVents based alarm script
So this panel uses the X10 protocol? I use the Pro1 firmware which also has the X10. Have to find out if enabling X10 it does not interfere with my other settings. Edit. I downloaded the RFXCOM manual, and now I see the Kerui mentioned. ;) No the panel doesn't use X10. It is indeed directly ...

Thanks!!
To answer both questions:
To receive the 433MHz I use an Rfxtrx433E.
Indeed have a powered USB hub connected to my RPi3B.

dzHomeAlarm: dzVents based alarm script
Hi, for some time I've been thinking of creating my own alarm routine in Domoticz using dzVents and below you can find my first version of dzHomeAlarm. Keep in mind: I'm not a programmer, have a full-time job and a family. So, just managing expectations  Included in the code are: State machine ...

Re: Galaxy Watch Application R4D domoticz
Hi, First of all, this is the best looking interface to control Domoticz from the galaxy watch at the moment. Nice work. There is just one issue I run into. When I have selected a group, for example lights, and I want to go back to the main overview, then it just refreshes the current list. I cannot ...

Re: How to switch a Selector Switch from Python
Thanks for the response. I indeed see that there is very little clear documentation on interfacing with Domoticz from Python. Having several Dzvents script up and running I indeed agree this is much better, however I am building a script which automates interaction with a Yahboom cooling hat for my ...

How to switch a Selector Switch from Python
I am pretty new to Python programming. Right now I am trying to find out how to gracefully switch a selector switch from Python. I can turn switches on and off using: import domoticz import DomoticzEvents as DE DE.Command("{name of the device", "on") But switching a selector switch does not work. In ...

Z-Wave curtain switch unable to send STOP command
Hi, Currently I am trying some options for our electric blinds. I have bought a Z-Wave curtain/shutter switch. In my case a Shenzhen NEO CoolCam NAS-CS03ZE. The switch is initially recognized as a light switch in Domoticz, but I can reconfigure it as a shutter with percentage control. This works ...

Controlling a Hornbach fan from Domoticz
Hi, In summer our bedroom is getting pretty warm so we wanted to buy a nice big fan. In the end we found a ceiling fan at our local Hornbach for about 100 euro's ( https://www.hornbach.nl/shop/MADEIRA-Plafondventilator-Paramito-132-cm-nikkel-incl-afstandsbediening/6045503/artikel.html ). It was big ...

Re: Dashticz Dial - Features, Fixes & Updates
Having nice dials is for me one of the things missing in Dashticz right now. So I am very happy seeing this development. Nice work especially the selector swith which is also usable if you don't have your thermostate connected yet. Could you make the pluigin more universal, like also als indicator ...
