Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Dear all, I solved the below with a reinstall of the entire SD card on my Raspberry Pi5 on Bookworm. For completeness, also created a new smart-home-key.json with different IDs. I will leave the post for further reference. Thanx! Hello people, I have both Flask (DZGA) and Domoticz installed fine ...

Re: Matter integration
On github I found a project matter.js (https://github.com/project-chip/matter.js) which seems to be something for developping matter-bridges to existing smarthome-systems. Onother thing I found is matterbridge (https://github.com/Luligu/matterbridge) Could this be something for domoticz? When apple ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Pffffffffff, Once more, after a few hours work, I'm complety lost again: [test] app could not be reached, please try again . I noticed that things translated a bit messily from Domoticz. Devices I put in a room in Google Home were found in the wrong room. In Google Home, devices were set to offline ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Got it!! Sorry for the extensive writing above but it looks like I was able to partially fix it. When I created a new project Actions on Google, I found out that some new things need to be filled such as contacts, developers, email addresses and more. Even photos. I found a description of what I ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
I am still trying to provide some additional information. I run into some other strange things that do not clarify for me, but perhaps another person. When I log in with http://xxx.xxx.xxx.x:8181/settings I get into the user interface just fine and everything seems to work fine there. The same is ...

Re: Python Plugin: TUYA
This does not seem to work, or I am doing something wrong of course. To make sure it wasn't due to the current installation, I did a new Bookworm installation with the latest Domoticz version. I keep getting the message that the virtual environment is externally managed. I looked up the relevant ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Still, I do encounter a little problem unfortunately. DZGA Flask seems to work for the most part. the server data is filled and there seems to be a connection between Domoticz and DZGA Flask. I have created a new admin and SSL also seems to be working as I can log in nicely with my domain name. The ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
DewGew you are a hero. I was planning a rollback to the RPi 4B with Bullseye tomorrow.
Super thanks for your work, no doubt it will have taken a lot of time again.
At least you made me very happy. Thanks!

Re: Python Plugin: TUYA
The post below had been placed in the wrong forum topic due to a misunderstanding. So restored in this one. Hi all, I'm on a RPi 5 running on Bookworm. Bullseye is no longer supported for this hardware. see: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/os.html#python-on-raspberry-pi Due to ...

Hi Xenomes, I'm on a RPi 5 running on Bookworm. Bullseye is no longer supported for this hardware. see: https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/os.html#python-on-raspberry-pi Due to changes in the way pip should be handled now, I seem to be running into a problem with getting Tuya ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Unfortunately, this is not a solution for me. I had already configured this nicely. Since Bookworm there seem to be some problems with pip in Python and I thought that might be where the problem lay. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case either. It applies to both DZGA and DZGA-Flak. I ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Is no one affected by the problem I am encountering in not beeing able to bring up the Dzga configuration page? I had everythig working in a prevoius instalation using Rasperry Pi OS Stretch, but decided to do a clean install of the OS. I opted for Bullseye because I believe it is the version which ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Ok DewGew, thanx, In that case, I probably have something else I can't get working. I have gone through all the steps and am actually at the last part where I get stuck. In DZGA I can see all the devices added in Domoticz and I am logged in nicely. The log shows no strange signals. However, when I ...

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Hi Kedi,
Thanx for this quick reply.
Can you please explane this? What do you mean with escape the & char?
The DZGA configfile says: # Login on Google Home app and configuration interface
Thats means my password on Google Home needs to be (exactly) the same as de Userinterface, right?
Thanx!

Re: Domoticz-Google-Assistant (dzga)
Dear folks, hi DewGew, After Controlicz (MadGenie) discontinued, I was looking for a good alternative. I thought I had found this in DZGA. By now I have DZGA (partially) working on my RPi. I am now running into the fact that my Google password contains multiple & characters and it seems that DZGA's ...
