ZWave extension suggestion
Hi all, Just want to give a suggestion regarding the zwave functionality. I have a MH7H thermostat which is supported by openzwave but a part of the needed functionality is not implemented in domoticz (state of the device). Therefor I can't see (nor use) the state of the device to determine if it is ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Hi all, As mvzut mentions: this is probably a MaxCube issue. I also had this and can confirm that rebuilding the Cube may help (took me quite some tries). What I noticed (at least helped me): creating a new room, and moving devices to that new room helped in solving. You will be stuck with an empty ...

Re: room thermostat MCO Home – termostat MH7
Hi Fatk, I also have this thermostat. I think it's fine and works good enough. However: - you have to edit the manufacturer_specific.xml ( domoticz/Config) - also you have to create a 'mh7h.xml' file in the mco directory (/domoticz/Config/mcohome) (see: https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave/issues ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Hi mvzut, I reinstalled domoticz (the complete pi actually) and had to reinstall eQ3 MAX also. As you already thought, the issue was somewhere deep in the config of the MAXCube. Thx for your hint. Regarding the discussion of the shape of the setpoint: I couldn't make a snapshot so quickly, but mine ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Hi mvzut, My Pi crashed and I had to restore it. Luckely 'just 1 week' lost. I think I am going to rebuild it from scratch since the performance is very low (processor load is approx 20-25% but responses to the commandline are way too slow). Therefor I have concentrated yesterday and last saturday ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Hi mvzut, Back again. I run into a strange issue: my configuration consists of 2 rooms: - room 1 only has 1 radiator valve - room 2 has 1 wall thermostat and 3 radiator valves (which are coupled by the MaxCube) In the past I noticed some strange behaviour but I couldn't get hold of the exact issue ...

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system
Hi all, Sorry for that issue. You were right, I didn't change all the IP's into a variable. This is fixed in the attachement. I have 1 issue though: if I change the setpoint, it doesn't change it on the thermostats (no error or whatever). Is this also in your setup? If not… I have to restart my M ...

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system
Hi, As mentioned: I'll be back. In the attachement the newest version of the LUA script. Thanks to mvzut I was able to add the names of the different modes ('Manual', 'Automatic', 'Vacation' and 'Boost') as well as the Battery ('Bat NOK' and 'Bat OK'). Just to add: I don't have a MAX switch, so I ...

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system
Hi mvzut, That's what I'm looking for. Thx. Will incorporate it into the lua part somewhere in the next days. One question: how to encode texts myself? I also want to change the battery level names and have some other scripts that work similar. (if anyone interested: I have a Itho control system ...

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system
Thx for your feedback. I noticed that the script had some issues lately, therefor I decided to rewrite quite a bit (including sharing the functions which easily create and update a domoticz sensor just based on it's name, thought that would be interesting for someone). However: I need some help!! As ...

Re: ELV Max! Heating control system
Hi all, Just to add my piece to the MAX scripting. I used the many lua scripts I have found on the forum to enhance it a bit (at least in my opinion) and wanted it to share it with you all. What the script does: - test if the MAX hardware is available in domoticz, if not: auto create it - test if ...

how to calculate year usage
Hi all, A (probably easy) question for which I still couldn't find an answer: is it possible to calculate the year usage for electricity, gas,... based on a day to day calculation? (for example from 1-1-2017 until 1-1-2018 but also 15-1-2017 - 15-1-2018: Always the last 365 days)? I am using the P1 ...

Re: RFXcom sensor ID changes
Hi SweetPants,
Thx for your very fast answer. I will give it a try. Sorry that I missed your reference. I will give it a try the next couple of days (when the batteries have died). I knew it is due to the sensors, but didn't know how to avoid the loss of data. Many thanks again.

RFXcom sensor ID changes
Hi All, I am a relative noob with domoticz and have just installed it on a RasPi2. As hardware I use (among others) a RFXCom device to receive temperature sensors combined with humidity. I noticed that the sensor changes its ID when the battery is changed. Is there any way to avoid it as being ...
