I think you have a totally different sensor. Mine does nothing when the magnet is near, and sends a command (red LED turns on) when the magnet is moved away. Here that does not seem to work I have it configured as normal on/off switch. In the switches tab it is always shown as "off" In the delay fields i have on delay 5 and off delay 0. But what about just giving a delay for the on or off (the inverse of what your sensor sends) for a few seconds? If my PIR sends only 'Off' commands, i put a 'On' delay for 5 seconds or so. This makes the switch go from Off to On instead of only off. Should be enough to base an event on? No Lua ...
