I also get an error:

You have a honeywell gateway?
Otherwise it is not possible to use it with a API
Is that correct? I did not have a gateway

I have a evohome with inbuilt wifi
Its running on debian jessie
Following the wiki did not work for me.
Hope someone can help me.
