Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.

Silly me... I searched everywhere except the most obvious place.
I hope I didn't mess up by attempting that silly way of updating.
May be I should uninstall/install to be on the safe side...
Thanks again jumbotroll

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration

Hi. I'm not posting to ask for something but just to say thank you to Madgeni for the excellent work. I'm playing around voice integration since some weeks, tried many paths/product/solutions, but at the end the best one I found is the chain Google Home->Controlicz->Domoticz. As of yesterday I can ...

Sensor status update

Hi everyone. I need your help to understand if my understanding on how Domoticz dals with devices is correct. Background. Re: PiFace support added

Misiek1977, just to check, are you sure that the installation of PıFace completed without problems? I'm sure I had to work a bit to have it properly installed on Stretch... of course now it's working fine. The only trouble I remember at the moment is described here https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/ ...

Debouncing for PiFace Digital 2

Hi. I'm using one of the digital inputs of the PiFace to trigger the opening of my shutters. What is happening is that two times in two week the shutters opened while nobody was even in the house. Checking the log it's clear that both times the "pushbutton" went on-off within the same second ...

Re: Unable to change a device status with LUA

Let me first say that in the meanwhile I found the solution and will come to it in a minute. Let me first answer your questions. Having in mind that this LUA event is just for testing and not supposed to be used as such, I created this event in the internal editor saying it is written in LUA and ...

Unable to change a device status with LUA

I'm currently testing how to change the status of a device On/Off or Open/Close. For this purpose I wrote a very simple LUA security event which is supposed to do the following: 1) When I go on the security panel and press Disarm, I want "Relay 0" to go Off 2) When I go on the security panel and ...

Zone management in Security Panel

I have really no idea on where this subject should go. For other reasons I'm trying to understand more details about the logic of the Security Panel and while checking the file index.html I see clearly a piece of code managing up to 3 zones separately or all of them together. Plus, somewhere else i ...

Re: [SOLVED];Modifying Security Panel layout

May be I'm missing or not understanding something. This post shows "solved" in the subject, BUT 1) I can't see a solution 2) There is no answer to the last post These things are exactly what I'm trying to do right now, plus something else. The something else is that I'd like to have control on what ...

Arduino clone ?

Hi all. Yesterday I spent the whole afternoon trying to find an answer to my doubt. I've been working in IT for 45 years but when it comes to electronic and soldering I'm totally null, so I decided to buy a RFLink kit in Nodo shop with the soldering service. While choosing the right kit to buy, I ...
