I have installed the plugin in domoticz, and it seems to be working fine. I am usin Smart Life - Added credentials and plugin loads fine, and gives no errors. In the end I bit the bullet. Installed fresh Ubuntu. Installed domoticz. Restored backup and set ports for zigate and zwave. Everything works. My take is zigate and windows is unstable at best and almost impossible to get up running..

Hi - Yeah. I have even removed it, cleared it, flashed it - re added it. Set all ports (usb, com and so on) - Same result.. As soon as i add the Zigate, Domoticz starts restarting and looping..

Tried various Domitcz versions - beta and stable. Same result.. I am at my wits end.. I have reinstalled Domoticz on a new Windows server. Restored backup, Z-Wave works great. I have updated to latest firmware on zigate USB, communication is OK. i might just end up flashing firmware - installing latest plugins and re pairing the 5 zigbee devices i have.. should have started with that.. haha!! Would have saved myself hours of work..

Thanks - But there is something going wrong when following this. I suspect is has to to with file structure between windows and raspbian..
Copying over those files causes plugin to stop working..
tried modifying the json files and file paths, but still doesnt help..

OK - So a lot closer.. IT is all about versions not working together.. Installed same (old) versions as on my PI on windows and got it all running. Only some errors about devices.. Do you know where and what files to copy over to sort these messages out? what files in what folders contain this ...

i have a feeling it has to do with firmware version and plugin version.. Do you know how i can specify pre-4.1 for git download in windows?
