If so its strange because Tvgids used the same method to bypass any cors issues

This happens because your did'nt fill in your username and password of Domoticz, probably because you did'nt use a username and password
for your domoticz and this application needs it. This got nothing to do linux it just runs fine on my HP microserver with XPenology so give me a break.

I could be that when you saved it would display the old config.json because of your cache, turning it off would do the trick. I have update the directories and now it works on my default Domoticz(webserver), cant speak for the PHP because domoticz by default cant process PHP

Are you openening the app on a properly configured webserver with apache, because the app wont work just running on your
desktop without it ?
