Re: [90] MQTT Support
Greetings guys, I'm just delving into this and trying to get Domoticz to "talk" to the mosquitto MQTT server. So far I think I'm almost there.... At least on the MQTT server side I can see ping requests coming from domoticz and the MQTT server is responding to them. This is using the new MQTT ...

Re: [154] - CurrentCost Envir support
I kept at this a bit more but decided to try and do it on my windows server rather than the raspberry pi. Only because I'm more comfortable with windows... I Installed Python 3.4 on my windows 2008 server. I had to use PIP.exe to install the "serial" and "requests" modules. I actually have a 1st Gen ...

Re: [154] - CurrentCost Envir support
Thanks for this script!! Im trying it on my pi, however running into troubles. I am a fellow newbie trying to get Domoticz on my Raspberry Pi talking to my CurrentCost meter using USB. And openly admit I have no real clue what I'm doing when it comes to Linux etc etc... To get past the error you ...

Re: Kodi add-on to control Domoticz
Works great on my Openelec system!
Do open/close sensors work yet? I was able to open the front gate from within Kodi but the Domoticz sensor device does not show that the gate is now open....

Re: Android app
This might sound a bit of gimmick, what about voices control to show off to our friend and family plus apple fan boys. I currently use AutoVoice and Tasker to achieve this.... I also use this great android app but the main benefit is it works without having open any ups.... The Nexus 5 phone is ...

Adding some sort of room plan functionality would be a great addition to your application. Something that is universal across all the supported home automation systems would be cool!

I don't suppose anyone is able to help me with getting this script to run automatically when my Raspberry Pi reboots?

Being able to receive notifications from Domoticz would be very cool....
I don't have any battery devices so would be cool if you maybe hid the battery details if it was 255...

Re: DSC/Envisalink integration
Still no luck I'm afraid.... No idea what I'm doing really... This is what I've added to my crontab.. @reboot screen -d -m -S EnvisaLink /home/pi/envisalink_domoticz.pl &>/tmp/tommy.log The bit on the end was some stuff google told me to add to try and log any errors, it creates the log file but it ...

Re: DSC/Envisalink integration
Okay have given this a try but it doesn't seem to be working.... I've tried adding both of the lines below to the "crontab" but it just doesn't seem to be running after a reboot... @reboot screen -mS EnvisaLink /home/pi/envisalink_domoticz.pl and @reboot screen -mS EnvisaLink perl /home/pi ...

Re: DSC/Envisalink integration
Cool, thanks will give that a try.... Sad to see you have moved on from Domoticz because that means you won't be adding to your cool DSC Alarm script anymore :-) What are your thoughts on Ago Control... I haven't tried it because it doesn;t even have any screenshots to show what it looks like etc ...

Re: Android app
Hey guys, is it just me or does this app still not work with the latest version of Domoticz?
UPDATE : Okay weird.... I had to fill in the "External" domoticz settings in the app even though I'm accessing from in my own network... It works now...

Re: Raspberry Pi GPIO randomly changed from NC to NO???
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm just after I clicked submit on this topic I checked again and now it seems back to normal without absolutely anything changing????
Maybe it's to do with the fact that the reed switch is one of those concealed round ones and maybe the magnets have to be aligned in a particular way?

Raspberry Pi GPIO randomly changed from NC to NO???
I have a magnetic reed switch hooked up to the GPIO ports on the raspberry pi and it's been working fine for a few days.... Then all of a sudden it seemed to be somehow "inverted" in Domoticz. What I mean is the reed switch normally shows in Domotics as "Closed" and then the logs tell me at about ...

Re: How use Room Plan ?
Not sure if this has been covered off already so apologies in advance.... When trying to define a room where I click doesn't seem to correspond to where it draws the room plan.... In the example below I actually clicked on the 4 corners of the basement at the ceiling height in each corner but you ...

Re: DSC/Envisalink integration
Do you think it will be feasibly to startup the screen and run your script using the "rc.local" startup script that is launched when the raspberry pi starts up?
