Re: What's next for Domoticz??
I noticed the “About” tab looks completely overhauled in the latest beta, though it might have happened earlier since I don’t check it that often. Maybe this is the start of a new default theme.

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
Weird thing is, I've build the image locally:
git clone https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz-docker.git
cd domoticz-docker
changed the Dockerfile:
FROM python:slim
and libpython3.9-dev to libpython3.13-dev
docker build -t domoticz:local .
and everything is running fine:
# ls /usr/local/bin ...

cd domoticz-docker

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
This is quite odd as there is no reference to 3.11 in the Dockerfile... 3.13 should be installed
This is what I find in the container (:beta):
sh-5.2# cd /usr/lib
sh-5.2# ls
apt dpkg git-core init locale lsb mime os-release python3.11 sasl2 ssl systemd terminfo tmpfiles.d udev x86_64-linux-gnu+

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
I think libpython3.13 indicates a python3.13 venv while python3.11 is installed in the image.

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
I think those images have a corrupt venv so only @gizmocuz could solve this I think.

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
What is returned when you run this command via customstart.sh?:
pip3 install -r /opt/domoticz/userdata/plugins/domoticz-solaredge-modbustcp-plugin/requirements.txt
This should install the required modules.
Launch: Running customstart.sh
domoticz | /opt/venv/bin/python: error while loading ...

I think it has to do with:
gizmocuz wrote: Tuesday 12 August 2025 16:20 Could you update to the latest docker to see if that solved the issue?
The build system is now using a schroot bookwork build environment (it was updated to Trixy)

In docker Domoticz :latest and :beta (Version: 2025.1 (build 16758) Build Hash: 79e16c172) the plugin doesn't run anymore:

Re: SolarEdge production throttling from Domoticz
I'm currently testing the "Meters2" branch from jvdz with just one inverter connected, and it's working flawlessly. In addition, I'm retrieving hourly electricity prices from Enever to support my dynamic energy contract.
Although the inverter is capable of automatically throttling the active power ...

Re: Real power consumption
Hello akamming,
It took a while before I had the script running (I'm running domoticz in a Alpine Docker).
But now everything is fine. It's a great script for measuring the actual powerconsumption.
