Re: Zigbee in Domoticz (win10)
Is this a fair summary between the 2 plugins?: Zigbee for domoticz: The easiest "plug and play" solution for Zigbee+Domoticz (but perhas not for windows) and requires commercial hardware like the Sonoff dongle. Seems to lack in compatibillity or no one just has any issues with a lot of hardware ...

Re: Zigate and Sonoff 3.0 Stick
The Sonoff 3.0 Zigbee USB-Stick has the latest firmware but I am unable to get the zigate plugin running without errors. Should be noted that there ITead sells two different Zigbee 3.0 USB dongles and only their "SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus" variant will work today: https://itead.cc/product ...

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
Please consider adding an option to switch between "stable" and "beta" branch releases for the ZigbeeforDomoticz plugin? https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/ZigbeeForDomoticz Main reason is that currently only latest "beta6" branch releases contain support for mentioned Texas Instruments CC253x, CC13x2 ...

Re: Zigate plugin moving to a new era
zigpy-znp works with ITead's "SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus" (CC2652P based model) however would recommend upgrade to latest firmware first: https://itead.cc/product/sonoff-zigbee-3-0-usb-dongle-plus/ -> https://sonoff.tech/product-review/sonoff-zigbee-3-0-usb-dongle-plus-tutorials/ https ...

Re: Zigate plugin moving to a new era
I have a deCONZ and currently use https://github.com/Smanar/Domoticz-deCONZ so I am not really in need of a new solution. But if I understand correctly that solution relies on deCONZ own implementation (via rest). Their webinterface shows little "fun" stuff, to see that I need to run the X-window ...

Re: Zigate plugin moving to a new era
The plugin has been renamed to Zigbee for Domoticz as the upcoming version will managed TI CCxxx chipset through the zigpy libraries. Awesome news! For reference and back-story, there is a technical discussion about some benefits of utilizing zigpy here -> https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ...

Re: [REQUEST] Zigpy integration supporting different Zigbee USB adapters using same API?
Jeedom's Zigbee plugin developers posted two great blog articles which indirectly explain to users why they choose to base their implementation on zigpy: https://blog.jeedom.com/6107-parlons-zigbee/ https://blog.jeedom.com/5183-tout-ce-quil-faut-savoir-sur-le-plugin-officiel-zigbee/ Might read a bit ...

Re: [REQUEST] Zigpy integration supporting different Zigbee USB adapters using same API?
FYI, zigpy developers are now proposing to change their radio library API to separate high-level network operations from the low-level radio details. See https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy/issues/842 and https://github.com/zigpy/zigpy/pull/848 (plus an upcoming PR for radio API database changes). " This ...

Re: [REQUEST] Zigpy integration supporting different Zigbee USB adapters using same API?
Reply to post from other thread Subject: Zigbee2Tasmota It's s shame that the zigpy library could not be integrated which may be a good way to integrate zigbee within domoticz. I saw the discussion about an obscure crash related to sqlite3 usage, maybe i'll take a look closer to see if i can think ...

Re: Zigbee2Tasmota
Have not used Zigbee2Tasmota myself however I believe that later versions of Z2T can also as an alternative option emulate/mimic the protocol of a Philips Hue Bridge, so maybe you can connect to that interface using Domoticz (selecting Philips Hue Bridge as a hardware type?)? https://www.domoticz ...

Create a new wiki account?
I can not use my forum account to edit the wiki anymore.
I also can not find an option that let me recover my old (forum generated) account for the wiki or create new an wiki account.
Do I need to create a new wiki account and if so how?
