Re: Switch on LED strip with KAKU switch
Ha! It works now. I filled in the localhost (127.0.0.1) in settings and also put in the rule you supplied earlier. Thank you, waaren!

Re: Switch on LED strip with KAKU switch
Thanks for your help waaren!
Some questions:
In the pictures where you have 127.0.0.1 written, do I have to change for the IP of my domoticz?
With 'master' you mean the actual switch right?

Switch on LED strip with KAKU switch
I have a LED strip in my kitchen, which is controled by a Mi-Light (Ibox2). From the domoticz page i can switch this on/off normally. However, I had the idea to add a physical wall switch (KAKU AWST-8802) to switch the strip on/off, so I don't have to go into my phone everytime I want to switch. I ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink
What is going wrong here? As soon as I set the usage to computional, domoticz goes crazy. By the way, this is a brand new install from scratch with Debian 10 (buster) and domoticz 2020.2. you're right.... same here. Do not know where the problem is.!!!??? Just remove the device to solve Domoticz ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink
I have 4 Broadcom SP3S smartplugs which used to work fine with the older plugin. Due to a system fail I installed domoticz completely new, with the 2020.2 version (instead of the old V3.8) and also with the new V4 plugin. The installing went fine, and according to description. Then: 1. Added one of ...

I have tried the exact routine above, but it won't let me connect to the webinterface. I can access the RPI fine, but 'connection refused' when I go to the webinterface. Help please

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
So, I have finally successfully added my Broadlink outlets, but in this process two items per outlet are added to the utilities tab in domoticz. Broadlink 1.JPG One of these was 'working' right away, displaying the current power usage in Watts (W) and logging it. The second item should be displaying ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
Yes, stretch lite is what i'm running too. Yeah baby! That worked like a charm. Thank you so much. I followed the guide to the letter and it worked right away. One question I have that you can maybe answer is that I get two items in the utility tab for each sp3s plug. One shows the current power ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
I followed your guide some weeks ago, but unfortunately that didn't make the trick. Probably the issue lies somewhere between the distribution (I don't have debian stretch) and the python 3 version. I should probably upgrade to stretch and try again. I'll let you know. Thank you very much for the ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
I assume you have a RPI as Domoticz server? WinSCP makes a SSH connection with your RPI, same as you do with programms like Putty. WinSCP has an explorer-style GUI where you can select and upload files to specific folders on your RPI. After uploading make the files executable as described in the ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
As Knielen says, after removing plugin.py from the broadlink folder and restarting domoticz it should run fine again. If you want to start all over again, follow my guide on page 15 and the broadlink plugin should work. I've got it up and running for several weeks now without any problems. For me ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
I have to be honest, last night I decided to give up on getting the Broadlink plugs into Domoticz. At the end of last night I apparently did something to break down domoticz completely as it reports offline now, so tonight I will have to make a new domoticz install I guess. I don't think you have ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
It seems I have all the files in the proper folder (I use plugin v4) and Python 3.5 on domoticz version v4.9700. After several reboots I can't see Broadlink in the hardware list. How can I check if I did everything right? Edit: Something perhaps worth mentioning is the comment on the wiki to use the ...

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
Silly question perhaps, but do I understand correctly that you can't really control anything from this plugin? I can use it mainly to see the status of certain items right? I'm asking because I would like to be able to switch warm water heating on/off from domoticz. So far that doesn't seem to work ...

Re: Blockly examples
I'm trying blocky to have domoticz send me a notification when the outside temperature gets below the temperature inside the house, so I have to start opening doors and windows. I'm using blocky as I have no idea how to program in Lua. However, I can't get it to work properly. I have setup a ...

Re: Blockly examples
Your blockly does switch your notification triggerdevice every time the temperature condition evaluates to true. Using the checkFirst option in dzVents you can prevent that . This small dzVents script should do the job. -- activateNotificationSwitch.lua return { on = { timer = {"every minute ...
