Re: Homekit Garage Door
There is a Garage Door icon that appears on the Carplay screen (certainly does on my screen)... Would love to see a screenshot of your car display? And also a screenshot of how it appears in Homekit? Here is a picture of how it is displayed. Not that Homekit is not really integrated, but this ...

Re: Wemos D1/Nudemcu relais clicking
I have used the following with success. The Relays are Wemos Relay Shields. They are definitely 5V (do not work with the 3V supply). I have found that they are stable and have not had an issue. I used an iPhone charger to supply the power (think it's 5W/1Amp). The relays have been soldered to work ...

Re: Get sensor values with MQTT into Domoticz [Solved]
Hi @FireWizard - my bad, forgot to add the msg1 & msg2 when I copied/pasted. I don't know what the msg.payload.BatteryVoltage will be exactly, or if they even change Tasmota to include this, but will adjust if this is supplied. Your supplied Node Red code & flow are working perfectly, so many thanks ...

Re: Get sensor values with MQTT into Domoticz [Solved]
@FireWizard - I had added the 'Comfort' code, but certainly not as elegantly as your function (my coding is really rusty and bad!). The battery level is perfect being available in the Settings->Device. At least I think I can add separate devices with a % if/when I need based on the help you've ...

Re: Homekit Garage Door
It's true, there are noc homekit devices in carplay, but I read, that there would be a message in the dashboard of carplay. There is a Garage Door icon that appears on the Carplay screen (certainly does on my screen). I now have an ESP8266 flashed with https://github.com/RavenSystem/esp-homekit ...

Re: Get sensor values with MQTT into Domoticz [Solved]
Good evening @rjblake ... Best regards You are absolutely amazing! Many thanks for this. I had created a split this evening to try something, but was still lost where to go from there trying to work out the 'case' logic. My JS skills are really bad! I've extended to include all 8x of the sensors ...

Re: Get sensor values with MQTT into Domoticz [Solved]
@FireWizard, wondering if you can help me out with your expertise on this problem - I cannot get my head around it or decide on the best approach. I have created a flow in node red and it works; but still throws errors although gives me the result I want. I'm missing something somewhere. Background ...

Re: Xiaomi Mi Temperature and Humidity Monitor 2
@Attis92 - many thanks. Am trying it out on a few devices. A few notes as follows (for others who might run into issue): 1. Requires Python 3.6 or higher 2. May need to edit the first line "#!/usr/bin/env python3" depending on Python setup for cron to work 3. Does not work with ATC firmware (from ...

Python is a new technology in the last 5 years, Python provides to good and secure quality code security with providing the most helpful technology. but java is one top technology so I suggest first java and C++. 'Python a new rechnology'? Nope - its been around since 1989 (if not earlier ...

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
Heads up for all - I received this notification today: tado is discontinuing the old OAuth2 endpoints at my.tado.com. Starting March 2019, authentication will require retrieving access and refresh tokens from auth.tado.com. The client public-api-preview can be used as is (with the same client secret ...

Re: Aeotec Smart Dimmer 6+ and Switch stop reporting
I have noticed the same today - changed the Parameter #101 to '15' and still nothing (101. Report type sent in Reporting Group 1:). Do see in OpenZwave Control Panel - also notice that the "Configuration" and "Information" and "Current Values" buttons are also no longer available (but that seems ...

Re: Tado Thermostat plugin
Thanks for all your hard work and brilliant that you picked this up. The changes/suggestions I made are not critical in any way, but perhaps some logic as follows: Away Indicator - having this as an alert allows for simple logic to be used on status changes and more importantly allows for more than ...
