Currently I am still receiving a lot of Toon errors.
ToonThermostat: retrieveToonState request not successful, restarting..!
ToonThermostat: Error getting current state!
Perhaps there are more. It does seem to work, but these errors don't look good to me. How can I further trouble shoot and perhaps fix it?

Re: Toon errors
This is an ongoing issue. Has to do with Domoticz not using the official API from Toon. Nothing we can do about it.

Re: Toon errors
Too bad.... Perhaps hacking the Toon and cutting all ties with Eneco is the solution.

Re: Toon errors
If you contact Quby, they can help with hacking Toon without opening it. At least that is what moderators said a few days ago.

Nice one... Still all this stuff is just: if I have some time left. And time is sparse

Re: Toon errors
Any confirmation on this? Sounds like a good option to break ties with Eneco; although I'm currently using Tado but still have my Toon hardware

Re: Toon errors
It seems Quby takes for ever to respond back, but it was a message from Eneco it self.

Re: Toon errors
Of course they advise you to continue to use their services
Would be nice to get rid of the errors but apart from that I am happy with the current setup. And I like the advantage of being able to see how much I saved compared to the estimated usage.
Perhaps that will change when I run into the issue with setting the temperature using the Toon app that I ran into a while ago. Twice I set the temperature from the Toon app in order to have a nice and comfy home when I got there. Unfortunately the temperature wasn't set after all and everything was cold. And Toon did not give that feedback through the app.
I'm guessing that if I root the Toon and connect it to Domoticz completely setting the temperature will not be done through my Eneco account anymore, but through Domoticz and Domoticz will get direct feedback from Toon if the temperature in fact did get set to the new value.
