Re: GoodWe Solar inverter logger based on ESP8266
I've just finished a project to poll the GoodWe inverters using an ESP8266 using the RS485 connection (under the WIFI module). The ESP polls the inverter every second and uploads the data to Pvoutput (optional) and MQTT (optional). Using node-red I convert the MQTT messages and upload the data to ...

Re: Domoboard - General Discussions
I have almost completed my Domoboard interface. I really like it. I have made some customizations to the templates (Removed first icon to dashboard because it is already at the top of the menu. I also created a full width block plugin for showing my Goolge Calendar). I also noticed Chrome does not ...

I can view the login screen, but after logging in i get an error: TypeError: character mapping must return integer, None or unicode, with a traceback. The last line of the traceback is: File "C:\Python27\lib\hmac.py", line 75, in __init__ self.outer ...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
Not a stupid question. I only tested if the previous bugs are fixed. This is a new issue. I can confirm the 'add new devices' code is broken in this build. Sorry. It now only works with existing devices. I will look at this ASAP

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
I think i found the problem for the Pi problem. I have sent a patch to the admins of Domoticz so it can be included in an upcoming release. I would like to get some feedback once you've tried it.

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
I will look into the Pi problems. On a general sidenote: Pressing 'Off' on an activity executes the 'PowerOff' activity. So you can use regular on/off switches. any news with the pi issues? Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
@CodeItAway I have one suggestion: When everything is turned off, the switch to turn everything off is On. Maybe it's better to turn that switch off when everything is off. And On when something is On. I thought about this. The PowerOff is an activity in the Harmony hub, but it is unlike the other ...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
You can check if the devices are created in Setup->Devices. Device creation is not being logged.
Edit: I see the message: Too many commands missed. That isn't supposed to happen. Was the harmony hub changing activity? Did the log say anything else?

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
@CodeItAway Does it also detect when an activity is activated with the remote? With the solution I provided some time ago, it check every 10 min if there was an activity active at the moment. Thanks for this. You're welcome. It detects when an activity is changing and when the change is completed ...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
You are right, it's in csocket. /domoticz/hardware/csocket.h:9:10: fatal error: 'asm/errno.h' file not found Question still be, why use csocket? Can't it be done using the boost libs? The csocket code is a leftover from the original project HarmonyHubControl where the new code is based on. I ...

Re: Harmony support, new hardware?
Does this mean it will now be possible for me to control my Harmony hub via Domoticz running on windows without having to shell out for Microsoft Visual Studio? That's correct. Isee another little typo: Harmoney typo should be Harmony I can't find this typo. Other typos are corrected. Great ...
