AEOTEC Multisensor 6 sleeping slave even on USB power?

I am using a AEOTEC Multisensor 6 GEN5 connected through USB power. However in Domoticz it keeps saying me that this node is a "sleeping slave", while my other powered zwave nodes say they are "always on slaves":

Code: Select all

Node Id Basic Type Generic Type Product
1 *LB Static Controller Static PC Controller Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5
2 LBR+ Z-Wave+ node Reporting Sleeping Slave Home Security Sensor Aeotec MultiSensor 6
3 LBR+ Z-Wave+ node Always On Slave Siren Aeotec DSD31 Siren Gen5
Is this normal? I would expect the USB powered Multisensor is also an always on slave. I now suspect it is not serving as a routing node. Can I change this and/or can I check that it is in fact routing?

You could compile openzwave yourself, and also the control panel, and check if this also displays it is a sleeping device
If it also displays this, it is
maybe you have to exclude/include it again after putting it on power ?
I wont expect that this node will route traffic

Ok, thanks for the tip. I have never had this device on batteries, so when including it was on power. I will go for the easy way to rearrange my sirene device to another location to recover a dead node (the source of the investigation).
