SRT323 / Secure (ex-Horstmann) - Please implement !

Post by corx »

Hello,
I bought a SRT323 thermostat, it was recognized like Horstmann/unknown.

3 devices were discovered
- Temperature
- setpoint
- And "thermostat mode " (?)

It is impossible to set a setpoint .
The "thermostat mode" has no associated action
The most important problem is that it is not possible to operate the internal relay via a switch.

You can implement this device in Domoticz please ?

Thanks a lot .

You are asking on the wrong forum.

Domoticz relies on the OpenZWave library for Z-Wave devices.

There is no config file for your thermostat in OpenZWave.
It needs to be created with the help of all the configuration options this device has.
As there is no real manual on the internet you have to ask the manufacturer.
Armed with all the possible configuration settings you can ask the OpenZWave initiative if someone over there would like to create it.

Or make your own.

It looks identical to one of these - I have two -
Horstmann HRT4-ZW Thermostat Transmitter
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro, Horstmann, Neo Coolcam, EUROtronic
RFlink - IR detectors and temperatures
Wifi - YeeLights, ESP32s, Anoop sockets
Zigbee - lots with zigbee2mqtt and ZbBridge

Might be but it is not recognized as such by OpenZWave.

Has the srt-323 been supported?
I can find it in openzwave db: http://www.openzwave.com/device-database/0059:0004:0001
does that mean it is supported and will work in domoticz?

SRT323-Mode widget does not update

Post by benp »

SRT 323 is supported in domoticz V3.8153 (stable) :
  • You can get temperature
  • You can set temperature setpoint
But mode (heating or Idle) is not working properly. The widget exist in domoticz but is not changing.
Mode is working properly in open zwave.

Any idea on how to link properly with ozw?
