I think nothing,
Honor and recognition for the programmers.
A few new members who can hopefully contribute to the project.
and for me personnaly it's fun to see that a free cheap underdog can beat expensive solutions from bigger companies.

Third place for Domoticz! Or actually first place, i don't see Philips Hue and Nest really as home automation controller, but more like products to be used with a controller.
http://tweakers.net/reviews/4349/9/twea ... erken.html
Philips Hue
Nest
Domoticz
KlikAanKlikUit
HomeWizard
Eneco Toon
Athom Homey
OpenHab
Fibaro Homecenter
Pilight
Pimatic
Smartalarm
Zipato Zipabox
Vera VeraEdge
Loxone
Linkio

Impressive result. And a nice recognition to all who put work in this, mainly Gizmocuz.

Well done everyone involved. Definitely a number one really. I can guarantee everyone who voted Hue or Nest have either never heard of or never used Domoticz.
Running Domoticz on Pi3 with RFXtrx433e. LWRF power sockets and dimmer switches. Integrated my existing wirefree alarm PIRs and door contacts with domoticz. Geofencing with Pilot. Harmony Hub. Tado for Heating. Now playing with mysensors.

"Best smarthomeplatform" is a wide variety.
Philips Hue and Nest aren't real domotica apps. That makes Domoticz #1
That makes Kaku and Homewizard #2 en #3? That's like domotica for dummies
