Dear Forum users,

I'm still a noob on the whole Domoticz thing.

Im running Domoticz on my synology nas with the Aeon Zwave usb stick v5
I have a door sensor and a dual switch from the Aeontech brand.

For my birthday I got 2 Fibaro dimmers and an universal sensor. Today i started with the fibaro dimmer. Installed it like the manual.


Then I connected the device with my stick.



I left everything as default but can't find it back in my devices


What did I forget?

Did you also allow new Hardware to register in the config window?
Check the tickbox for "Accept new Hardware Devices"

I do see the dimmer in the last screen capture, did you enable it?

In your last screenshot you see the green arrows. Select the devices you would like to use. You can check if the device is the correct one by clicking on the light bulb and see if the light goes on or off. Fibaro switches add more than one "switches" to your domotics. So you need to find out which you would like to use. All the switches from the same device have the same ID number except for the last digit. When you add the second dimmer to your zwave network you can compare the added devices and see the similarities...

I was a n00b about 6 months ago and now i'm creating my own lua scripts for Domoticz...

After adding and removing it 7 times i managed it working.

But ... haha

I was assuming I first still could use my normal dimmer but that's not the case ... OK then i assumed i could use a double switch. push switch 1 on then light 50% push switch 2 on 100% or something ... But i can't figure that out.
It acts on one signal .. long short stuff like that. Why would anybody want it like that?!

Is there another way?
