Hi all,

I did an update to V2.2622 this morning. Two hours later I got a fire alert from all of mine smoke detectors. The smoke detectors themself didn't make any sound, but it did trigger a scene in my home. Could this false alarm have anything to do with the update or is it pure coincidence? I couldn't find an options for the smoke detectors to sent out a monthly test alarm.

Did anybody else experienced this before?

The same smoke detector did send an alarm here this morning after the upgrade last night !

Must be something with the update...time to roll back

Before I rolled back to stable, I did another beta update but the problem kept coming back. It looks like when a smoke detector times out it starts creating a virtual fire-alarm. I rolled back to stable and the problem is gone. It must be some thing in de open Zwave.

Hi i have same problem : false alert on FGSD.
Im on DZ 2638 and openzwave 399.

Alert happens at this time : 13h54 19h54 01h54.

It could be that it sends a 'keep alive' message, and as you do not hear the actual fire alarm, it looks like this.
please try the following:
- enable accept new hardware devices in the settings
- make the fire sensor go on, and check if you have a new device

i think you should have a new device that is the actual firealarm

I did it but no New sensors.
When I click on thé button all alarm are set to on : fire ramper battery.

Same problem here, but what do you mean with this?

I receive notification ALARM/FIRE

I keep on getting false fire-alerts....

I'm also receiving false fire alarms and false temperature alarms for a few days on my 2 fgsd...

Domoticz latest beta on raspberry pi

Just did an upgrade to V2.2646 and within 4 minutes I got a false alarm from one of the fgsd again. Is there any sight yet on what could cause the problem? Really don't wanna downgrade to stable again...

I think we must be patient, the team will find what happens.

You could see on SVN what the team commits, if nothing is in relation with openzwave, it's not worth update.

Hi, same problem here with my freshly received fgsd on v2622. I've had 4 false alarm within the 2 first days after the upgrade (receive mail notification for smoke & fire), the last one last for precisely 6 hours, just one second for the others.
As I write, the smoke and fire detectors haven't been seen since 2015-07-05, the last alarm in fact. The temperature sensor inside it report for the last time just one hour ago.

It got so badly that I rolled back. At one point you don't know if it's a real alert of a fake one. I'll wait till the problem is found.

I rolled back to stable, version V2.2563. The wife is happy again. No error anymore. .

hmmm nothing changed related to this... so i cant see what the stable version fixes

Tested here as well, using stable version no more false fire/temperature alarms
