Can I just say that I'm VERY happy with the implementation of Nest in the latest beta? :D

Thanks so much gizmocuz!

Great to see Nest is supported.

Can you tell which functionalities of the Nest are supported? What can you do/see within Domoticz?

It works perfectly! I have made an event switchen the Nest to away status when opening the backdoor via Domoticz. The system responds within 2 seconds.

Hi,

Received my 3rd Gen nest today and loving it. I got the status, temp and set temp to show up but they wouldn't refresh. Whatever was done on the nest didn't reflect in domoticz. Also I couldn't set the home/away status from domoticz. So I decided to to delete it all and start again. Now I don't have anything. How did you guys set yours up?

Kind Regards
Simon

Hi,

Right, I have it working where I can set home and away using blocky and seems to work fine. I think my issue is that its not getting updates from the Nest. I can set things from Domoticz but when I use the Nest App or the thermostat itself, those changes do no happen in Domoticz. I read somewhere it polls every 30 seconds or something like that. Inside Domoticz under utility they are showing up as red which I assume means no communication so i'm guessing domoticz is trying to communicate but its not getting a response.

Any ideas please share.

Thank you!!! :)
