Read and unread feature

It would be awesome if there is a similar feature as in the http://www.esp8266.com forum. They have a link for unread posts http://www.esp8266.com/search.php?search_id=unreadposts and allows you to mark everything as read. That way, when you return to the forum you can see all the new posts in one list, ungrouped. Very convenient. In our forum I have to go through all the subforums one by one to see if there is anything new.

I'd love to have something similar here.

I only use the unreadposts page to view new topics and comments.
It would be great that the link isn't only visible on the forum view page, but also in topics. Maybe besides the 'your posts' link?
