Domoticz

I have a few Eminent EM6590 smoke detectors, which i can detect in domoticz.

When i press the (test) button on the smoke alarm, the domoticz-status is changed to 'on'.

But is there any way to trigger the alarms from domoticz? This way i can sync them so they all go off simultaneously?

Yes, there is . For example, if you have a PIR and you want the smoke detector to go off on motion you use:

The smoke detector is shown as a switch. When i switch it 'on' in domoticz, it doesnt start beeping..

So i guess a lua script wont work..

I guess something else is wrong then.

I can test my smoke detectors by clicking the icon and let them beep with blocky. Should be possible in LUA also then.

It should be shown as a KD-101 and a fire icon, not a switch. Perhaps you can post a screenshot of the culprit?

This is how i see them in domoticz

Clicking on the round icon with flames does nothing?
Nevermind the KD-101 type, that's 433Mhz version (like mine and D'rMorris).

Clicking on the flames turns them on, and reset turns them off.

But no sound..

I have the same problem. Can't send on signal to pt2262 smoke detector...

Would you mind sharing you smoke detector icon on the forum? (or PM) I like it and there is nothing in Domoticz like that by default.
Also, how did you get a reset button and how do you send this command to the smoke detector?

The shown Icon and reset button are there with a standard installation for me (Everspring SF812 Smoke Alarms)
