UPnP, DLNA support
What I miss the most in Domoticz compared to Fibaro or Vera is the possibility to control my ceiling speakers.
Right now I have 6 Rocki, which are small UPnP devices connected to a multi channel amplifier that produces the sound.
In addition to this I have a Sonos soundbar with the same supported protocols.
To have support for this natively in domoticz would be wonderful.
It would allow me to automatically start a web radio station when someone enters the bathroom, or play a TTS message through the Sonos.
Any plans on implementing this?

Hi,
I'm agree with you, i have awox renderers, and i will be very please to control them by domoticz.
And also, use them for playing TTS message.
I found a solution with homegenie, but it's not cool, now i need 2 servers for doing that.

Just setup an Logitech Média Server (with the good plug in all your upnp devices will be reconize).
Add it to Domoticz, and all your UPnP player will be include with full feature....

Re: UPnP, DLNA support
Thanks a lot,
What do you mean by :
Just setup an Logitech Média Server (with the good plug in all your upnp devices will be reconize).
Do i need to install a Logitech Média Server or just add a device in domoticz.
What IP port do you use.

Yes, cool.
I've try.
In fact i read a second time your post, and understand.
Install a Logitech media server on a server
Configure upnp/dlna device in pluggin section, (found awox renderer)
Add Logitech media server in domoticz
Fire.
Thank you for the tips.

Re: UPnP, DLNA support
I have a Harman Kardon Aura with DLNA and would also like to let it automatically play music via Domoticz. How can I configure Domoticz to let it play a stream when you enter the room and shut off when leaving house?
