Hi,

I would like to recommend my new special Raspberry image update to v2015-03-25:

AudiculaPi - the tiny media server for your Raspberry Pi
now with Domoticz v3.4834

based on OpenWRT Barrier Breaker 14.07, r44952

resp for RPI Model 2B+ update to v2015-08-18:
with Domoticz V3.5412 and OpenZWave 1.4.340

Preinstalled Raspberry Pi image (only 37MB compressed size) is available at
Sourceforge: AudiculaPi

Features:

* Minimalistic system, installed and running on a just 256MB sized SD card
* AudiculaPi provides a detailed Web Browser GUI for system setup with multi language support
(http://[RPI's IP ADRESS])
* Countless packages available at OpenWRT Barrier Breaker repository (see WebGUI -> System -> Packetmanager)
* Domoticz V2.x
Successfully tested with HW: RFXtrx433E USB 433.92MHz Transceiver by RFXCom and Z-Wave Plus USB Stick ZME_UZB1 by Z-Wave.me / OpenZWave V1.3.112
Regulary updates of domoticzs/openzwave available via packagemanager (see below)

Already preinstalled, too:
* MPD / Music Player Daemon - Internet Radio / MP3 /OGG / FLAC etc. player
(with LIRC & bluetooth remote control support, LCD support based on PyDPF)
* IPTV / DVB-T/S/C recorder with TVHeadEnd 3.9 / MuMuDVB 2 (recent git versions)
* SAMBA Server
* SSH/SFTP Server
* MiniDLNA
* Shairport
* Avahi
* OpenVPN
* WebCAM Video Streaming with mjpeg-streamer
* NTP client / server
* WLAN client and / or access point
* Firewall

[Update]
For latest update to domoticz r2.0.x , openzwave etc. use packetmanager !
Just type

Code: Select all

opkg update
opkg upgrade domoticz openzwave userland
/etc/init.d/domoticz restart
Or use Web GUI -> System->Packetmanger -> Update Packages, install domoticz


If all goes fine you'll get something like this:

Are there more options possible with open wrt on my router and Domoticz openwrt..?



Is there perhaps an option that i can use my opnwrtrpi as a wifi repeater?

Yes, that's possible!
See details at http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/recipes/relayclient

Required packages relayd and luci-proto-relay are already installed.
You only have to connect wifi hardware to RPI's usb interface and you have to install the driver manually if it's not the preinstalled kmod-rt2800 (depends on your hw).
Most linux wifi drivers are avaible as kmod package.

what's the password to logon? the default pw doesn't work in CLI
Also notification via email doesn't work anymore...?

As described in README default access is:
user:root
PW:[empty]

Since you have not changed only Web GUI or telnet login is possible but no ssh !
email notifications: I have no idea :( , I just compiled recent version, now with openzwave and GPIO support ???

Update to domoticz to 2.0.2241 is available
now with
openzwave update to v1.3.999 and
userland / RPI tools provide raspicam applications, too

BUT, things I have observed: :o
  • Cpu load now varies with peaks up to 14%
  • I get the message web "brower refresh cache failed"

I also get error message 'Resource fetch failed (404)" but everythings seems to work except e-mail notifications (credentials are correct though)

Update to r2250 is avaiable, now with openzwave v1.3.1001 support.

Browser cache problem is still unsolved,
r2252 causes segmentations faults on my system

Very interesting. I'll give it a chance because i want to try to connect my pi to my visonic powermaster with the viknet software (on openwrt - TP-Link 703N).
About the cache problem, i've got it behind my workplace proxy with a sort of filtering. Perhaps an openwrt rule not allows it.

Could you write an how to compile domoticz for openwrt, pleeeeaaaaaaaase ?

There is a openwrt feed available for the required Makefiles:

Update to v2.2269 , OpenZWave 1.3.1015 and Raspi usertools is available via packetmanager.

your efforts will be apreciated by many people.
Many of the rasberry pi users run with a rfxtrx.com 433 tranceiver which i understand you support but can you also confirm if the PIface switch and sensor block is also supported by your image ?

No, in recent version PiFace is not supported. But which libs/packages are required for that support. I can try to add them.

Update to Domoticz v2.2294 & OpenzWave V1.3.1025 is avaible via packetmanager.
