How to use GPIO with raspberry pi 3

Hello,
I have a raspberry pi3 and I want to install Domoticz to use the gpio of the raspberry which OS for the raspberry Pi 3.
I installed OS Lite (32 bit) on Debian Bookworm.
I can order the GPIOs with the Rasbperry by pigs w 23 0 which triggers a relay and pigs w 23 1 to untrigger it whereas I would like the opposite. First concern.
In Domoticz I would like to use them but I can’t, that it is the method to be able to use them, and I would also like to use GPIOs in input. Is this possible or not with Domoticz on Raspberry Pi 3. Thank you for your help.
