Domoticz

I Don't know if I'm in the right place to post this now. Sorry if I'm wrong.

I am a user of Domoticz to full satisfaction. I have an iPad on the wall and I'm coming back from vacation and now it doesn't work anymore? It's an iPad Air and has always worked. I understand that there was an update during my vacation and it now says version 2025.1 I have seen that on the computer, other ipad and on the smart phone domoticz can just start, but not on the one hanging on the wall? I don't understand anything about it. Tried everything and finally completely emptied the iPad and reinstalled it, but Domoticz gives a black screen. It says IOS 12.5.7 and can no longer be updated. Could that be the problem. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

So perhaps try another browser on your Ipad.

It is also strange you suddenly have a new Domoticz version. There is no automatic update of Domoticz function so someone updated it for you. Seems scary to me.

Or he used it in a container with Watch Tower to keep it up to date

I also experience the same problem on an older iPad mini. 1 day it works fine, the other day, after Domoticz was updated to 2025.1, the iPad could not display the domoticz pages. I run 4 domoticz instances on 3 Raspberry Pi's and one as a VM. On all 4 no display on the iPad mini.
Other devices (iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, Remote Desktop 2024) no problems, but the older iPad mini experienced this issue after the update
Because it has the same issue on all 4 Domoticzs's it seems a Domoticz problem. Even Home Assistant (test setup) is displaying correctly on the iPad mini

I can still view other pages like telegraaf.nl, tweakers.net etc. so it is definitely Domoticz causing the issue. Other browser choosing is not an option, because they are not compatible anymore with this older iPad mini.

Is there a browser debug option on an Ipad? Can you see the errors that the browser should encounter?

i am able to remote connect to iPad mini:

On the ipad go to Settings > Safari > Advanced and activate the Web Inspector.
Connect your ipad with your computer.
On your computer open Safari, enable the developer tools in the settings. check the above menu for the tab Developer and find your iPad there.

So this seems to be an issue with the Highcharts library that has been updated in Domoticz. And this updated library giving issues on old IOS devices.

I am not technically enough to see that the problem is in Highcharts . I consider myself a high end user, I can make connections to this a that, but code and programming is not my cup of tea.
Would be nice to have a solution for this, because safari/browsing/surfing the web is almost the only thing the iPad mini is capable and usable for at this moment. A lot of Apps are not supported anymore, I know it is an old device, but tweakers.net and news sites are still making this device still very good usable, just give it some time .Would be nice if Domoticz could be also usable again.

Question now is: How to enable Highcharts in a way that Domoticz handels it correctly?
