Last night the update had been executed obviosly automatically before I even had a chance to backup everything. How can this happen? In the setting, "Check for updates" is activated. But does it mean that it is not only checked but also executed? I thought this means checking and informing ...

That is not possible, unless someone else (with remote access) did this for you that.

Or, you run Domoticz via Docker, and are using an application that monitors and update your docker installations

Thx for explanation. I think I have installed it via docker some years ago, but I have no idea which program monitors and updates it ... strange. As I am just a guy who can follow "step by step" instruction I don't really know what I am doing 🥴

Will try to have a look on the Raspi this weekend when I will be back home.
