Hi All,
For 3 weeks right now I dived into domotica, and till now its opening a whole new world for me!
Reading and reading on lots off fora is getting me little by little up to speed in Domoitcz and in the mean time the house is allready pretty well equiped.
My wish is eventually to implement a multi zone heating system and just bought my first StellaZ.
I managed to get it part of the network, but still have some questions.
I can't get the set points available, and wondering why the square on the sensor is yellow?
Below you find the icon of the thermostaat, a;;though its is showing the setlevel, but I can't get setpoint listed in "devices". I've included the device several times but no luck yet. Also saw in the device list that battery level stated "low", but the there are brand new?
Below you find the icon, with the yellow bar. What does this mean?
Hopefully somebody is willing me to help to get the StellaZ configurable in Domoticz.....
Tia Johnnie

Re: StellaZ no set points
A setpoint device should show up under the utility tab (first in the devices tab)
Yellow means low battery, you should be able to see the level from the devices tab
is the node correctly identified in the hardware->openzwave->setup tab?
Maybe there is no good configuration file for it yet, i found this on the openzwave forum:

Re: StellaZ no set points
Hi gizmocuz,
Thanks for you're reply.
The battery level says indeed "low", but I put in brand new duracell battery's.
The other thing I noticed is that because of a reload of the Pi a setpoint appeared. So I thought give it an other reboot and both missing setpoint where there!?
You've mentioned that there is maybe no good configuration fil yet.
Is the battery low and missing setpoints explainable by that?
And the other question: is there a thread where its explained how you can replace or add these configuration file you're pointing me to?
Btw I love you're initiative and will donate something to you.....best regards.

Re: StellaZ no set points
I am experiencing the same lack of support for StellaZ. I can change the curent setpoint but I am unable to switch to any of the other setpoints by utilizing Thermostat_mode. Also, direct valve control is not accesible.
The thread that Gizmocuz references involves adding a manufacturer specific configuration file (which should be easy to do) but also a patch of OpenZwave itself. The problem seems to be that StellaZ utilizing V3 of the Thermostat_mode and Thermostat_setpoint comand classes, while OpenZwave only supports V2. Also a problem with the detected setpoints indexes is described.
Can anyone explain how to easily apply these patches on a prebuilt Domoticz image?
As a workaround I am thinking about using a RaZberry and a Raspberry Pi to create a separate Zwave-segment for my StellaZ, under Zwave.me control. Under the Zwave.me API these devices should be fully supported. You can then interface Zwave.me with Domoticz.

Re: StellaZ no set points
In beta #5110 you can now set the thermostat mode (could take up 2 one hour before the raspberry beta is available)
