Can I upgrade from version "2023-2" directly to "2024-3"?
Will this happen when I switch on the software-update flag to On in the control panel.

You will be updated without issue.
Are you using Zwave? Did you migrate to Zwave-JS-UI already?
To be sure, make a copy of your domoticz folder so you can revert back.
