At the risk of boring everyone with my MQTT adventures and following on from my previous thread..

I am trying to install 3 Shelly Flood devices.
In ShellyTeacher I have the message
---ERROR: GEN1 device 192.168.2.62 SHWT-1 domoticz template not found.
I couldn't find anything on Google with this error message.
Do Gen1 devices require a different approach?

Re: ShellyTeacher Gen1 devices
I gave up with the MQTT nonsense and send Flood and Flood Gone URL/json commands from the Shelly to Domoticz.
Works perfectly, no plugins, no extra configuration, no more frustration.
Hope that this information helps someone else.
Did I mention no more MQTT nonsense.

Re: ShellyTeacher Gen1 devices
Can you please explain a little more how you did that?

Re: ShellyTeacher Gen1 devices
Sure.
Go to the Actions page on the Shelly.
You will see Flood Detected URL and Flood Gone URL.
Enable them and add the url of the switch/alarm you already defined in Domoticz devices.
e.g.
http://192.168.2.98:8080/json.htm?type= ... itchcmd=On
http://192.168.2.98:8080/json.htm?type= ... tchcmd=Off
That device then sends a Telegram message to my mobile.
For me this was an important issue as my cellar got flooded 2 weeks ago after an Aqara water alarm failed to warn me.
I find Zigbee unreliable and the signals weak in my house which has a lot of concrete. The Shellys have a good sized CR123A battery in them which is supposed to last 3 years.
I got flooded 18 months ago as well....
BTW to wake up the Shellys for programming you have to open them and push the button then they respond to the url commands you send it.
I also now after the second flooding have a mains powered physical pump controller/contact sensor in the cellar which has no communications but just works.
Hope this info helps you.
