Hue Motion Sensor not picked up

I have attached a motion sensor to my hue bridge, but the motion sensor is not being detected (although, in the hue app the motion sensor is visible).
Does anyone have any idea?
It does not show up under the devices tab, and the hue bridge hardware is correct up and running.
