Excuses me if it already has been handled.
I am struggling for a while with this.

I do get all data from the P1 meter through USB, except gas.
Tried the M-bus channel, but no luck.
From the log.

In Home assistant the data pops up immediately, so the meter and cable are fine (I assume).
From Home assistant:
Gas Meter Gas consumption 6 seconds ago 26(.)565 m³
And the value is shown on the gas meter it self.

Is it possible you can capture 1 frame from your P1 port?

sudo apt-get install cu minicom
sudo cu -l /dev/ttyUSB0 -s 115200 --parity=none

I have tried that to, but even if I stopped Domoticz, the access to the port was denied.
I was logged in as root.

I will give it another try.

Yes, I have tried it multiple times the last weeks / month.

Then I decided to post it on the forum. I could not find a solution for the problem.
And I am fair to say I do not know how to unravel the message from the meter.
Like the M-bus channel.

Your smart meter reports two gas meters, the first of which is invalid. Follow the wiki to override the M-bus channel autoselect and set it to #2

I see that M-Bus channel 1 has been used previously for a gasmeter.
Probably you got a new one and the installer forgot to release M-Bus channel 1.

Your current gasmeter has been connected to M-Bus channel 2.
See 0-2:24:2:1.

Go to the page, mentioned by @HvdW and carry out the configuration described in the last chapter.

I have tried that, but will give it another try tomorrow.

To select text from your ssh session (putty) you can select it with the left mouse button,
then paste it here (control-v)
But as mentioned above, you have to adjust the mbus channel
Make sure 'accept new devices' is enabled in the settings

Here an update: Succes.

With the override set on 2 it works, but I had to wait for 3 or 4 minutes before it popped up.
As I mentioned before, I tried the override before, but probably not long enough. I waited maybe a minute.
The confirmation of channel “2” helped a lot.
