Hi, I have compatibility issues with my Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus E.

When I flash it to a router, I cannot include it in my network as the ZigBeeforDomoticZ plugin sees it as Unknown. Is there any way to add it to the database?


Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus E works as an Cordinator but Firmware is unknown.

If you flash it with a router firmware, from the log we can know that the router has joined the network.
I'll see what I can do and will come back to you

If you can switch to the dev branch, assuming that you are at least on 6.3.00x

git checkout dev
git pull
restart the plugin, and redo the pairing, no widget will be created into Domotciz, but you should get the device in plugin with a status notDB (which stand not in Domoticz)

ZigBeeforDomoticZ plugin Admin Interface Version 6.3.006

I notice that Plus-E use EFR32MG21 Chip. Maybe its only supported in the beta?

I got an error when i write git pull.

I don't understand what the error message is. But it could be that you need to be root to run the git command in that case

sudo git pull
sudo git checkout dev
sudo git pull

God news! after upgrade to 6.4.040 and some restarts the repeater connect to the network! and it seems to work now :shock: :) :) . I have not tried my old domoticz, this is a new one with fresh iso.

Yes that is a known issue and it is not an issue.
Sonoff E is using a firmware which has not all needed information defined.

We are probably going to remote this error message

Im not sure if the repeater works 100%. the repeater is notDB and health is N/A but i dont know what that means.

The repeater is notDb because there is no widget in DomoticZ for it. Which make sense.

If you want to install a SonOff USB Dongle-E as a coordinator, it is the same way as all others but you need to select Silcon Labs instead of Texas in Domoticz Hardware Menu
