Hi,
I have two related questions. First: I have a Aqara lux sensor. I use the lux value to switch and dim the lights in my hal. Looking at the logs the lux values seem to be updated every five minutes. Which one takes the initiative to update: Domoticz or the sensor itself? Second question: Since it's not necessary to read out the sensor when it's dark outside I'm wondering if it's possible to switch of the interval at night to save the battery of the sensor?

Re: Change sensor update interval
What protocol is your sensor using (ZigBee, zwave)? What plugin or integration are you using?
Battery sensors normally cannot be polled by Domoticz.
But Domoticz stores the latest sent value every 5 minutes. So you really have to look at the log file (menu setup - log) if the value really is sent by the sensor
