Zigate and Aqara wall switch

Hello all,

I am the proud owner of a raspberry Pi 3b+ running domoticz and Zigate, using a PiZigate+ addon.
I have successfully added 12 devices during the last months, and everything is running smoothly. Really happy with the performance of my setup.
Today I have added a Aqara single rocker wall switch: https://zigbee.blakadder.com/Aqara_QBKG11LM.html
It looked like it worked just right from the start, but if I manually press the button, the status of the switch won't get updated in domoticz. (e.g. the lights are on but domoticz thinks they are still off)

When I toggle the switch in Domoticz, I have to switch them on first before I can switch the lights off.
I tried adding {'OnOffPollingFreq': 1} in the parameters section of Zigate dashboard, but none of it seems to be working.
The power measurement part of the switch isn't working as well, but I don't need that part of functionality :D
I wonder how I can fix this. It's only a minor nuisance though, it still works the way I like it to work.

Running latest domoticz version, Plugin version 5.1.018 PiZigate firmware 0321

Update: I tried removing the device and repairing it to different routers. I repaired it with a LIDL silvercrest plug switch and the status of the switch is now updated correctly. The power measurement part is still acting strange, it says it uses 1100 watts of power when the lights are off and 50 watts when the lights are on.
For me, this problem is solved since I wont be using the power measurement part.

Would you mind to share the file export.json result of going to the WebUI > tools and the Plugin Devices (raw)

Hello and thanks very much for providing this information.
Would it be possible to provide additional infos and especially logs ?

the best would be to activate debugClusters from the WebUI Tools > Debug
you can eventually add debugMatchId and instead of ffff you can put the 5c55 which correspond to "Slaapkamer spotjes"

then this will generate some additional logs on the Domotciz log (if you have enabled Log Level: Infos

Please do a switch on with the lights for 1 minute, and then the switch off for 1 minnute

finally drop the logs here.

Thanks

I did some investigation and in fact your Switch is not the one your are referring but more that one https://zigbee.blakadder.com/Aqara_WS-EUK03.html

Same look, but a bit different inside.

I did push an update on beta6 related branch. If you want to test it, please switch to beta6 branch first by following step by step this procedure

https://github.com/zigbeefordomoticz/wi ... rsion-6.md

Please do check that the plugin still work correctly (this will validate your switch)

then once done, you need to switch to the branch I have push this fix

git checkout pipiche38/lumi/lumi.switch.n1aeu1

then you restart the plugin

Thanks for your work, I didn't have the time to reply sooner.
this is the log output.

strangely everything seems to be in working order now.
The power measurement looks to be working, although a tad bit high. (260 watt for only 5 LED spots, but there are two old-fashioned 12v converters involved so who knows they might be really inefficient ;-) )

If I have the time I will test and check the beta branch. I need to do a full backup of my system just to be safe. It is working as intended and I would hate it if I messed something up.

Does the value reported are correct ? If yes i wouldn’t test what I did as this is probably the wrong path

sorry for the late reply, i've been quite busy lately.

Everything seems to work just fine for a couple of months. really stable too. Also the other issue I mentioned with a dimmer switch has solved itself.

Thanks!

By the way if I try to switch to another branch I get a lot of errors of files not matching, even if I want to switch from stable5 and stable6. so i have not tried that one yet.

You need to follow the porcédure describe here to move to Stable6 or Beta6
https://zigbeefordomoticz.github.io/wik ... ion-6.html

I'll merge de branch to beta6 for now

the main reason is that we have now open the plugin to non-Zigate coordinators like TI CCxxxx and Silicon Labs, and wip on Conbee II

Yes thank you. I followed the command set to the letter but when I enter the checkout command in step 4 I get errors.
Your local changes to the following files would be overwritten by the command:
< a big list of files>

I got it working by adding the --merge command, but I think it messed up the ability to update in the future.
Going back to stable5 broke things
I am reverting to my backup.. (glad I followed the advice to make a backup .img of my system)

This sound like the repo is messed up

I would suggest to do the following - taking in consideration that you have a backup -

1/ stop the plugin (or domoticz)

2/ move the Domoticz-Zigate folder to a backup directory (outside of domoticz)

Code: Select all

cd domoticz/plugins
mv Domoticz-Zigate /home/pi
3/ clone the repository

Code: Select all

cd domoticz/plugins
git clone https://github.com/zigbeefordomoticz/Domoticz-Zigbee.git Domoticz-Zigate
4/ You'll be placed on stable6 after the clone, if you want to move to beta6

Code: Select all

git checkout beta6
5/retreive the plugin Databases

Code: Select all

cd domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-Zigate
cp /home/pi/Domoticz-Zigate/Data/* Data/
cp /home/pi/Reports/* Reports/
cp /home/pi/Conf/PluginConf-* Conf
6/ you can restart the plugin

Yep! that did the trick!
Thanks for your advice.

I needed to change the commands you wrote for me to work. For other users who came across the same problem:

Code: Select all

cd domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-Zigate
sudo cp /home/pi/Domoticz-Zigate/Data/* Data/
sudo cp /home/pi/Domoticz-Zigate/Reports/* Reports/
sudo cp /home/pi/Domoticz-Zigate/Conf/PluginConf-* Conf
After those steps I continued the manual at step 5 and all worked out well. Still have all previously coupled devices in domoticz.
