Gas meter - initial value

Hi There,

I'm currently working to make my gas meter smart, using a spare fibaro door sensor, a reed switch and some node-red.
I have created a virtual gas sensor in domoticz that will receive consumption values.
So far so good, but is there any option, to set the virtual sensor to the initial value of the physical meter?
of course I could easily feed the total value in, but that would skyrocket my consumption and destroy any reasonable statistics.

If you use the Counter Dummy https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Dummy_for ... es#Counter
Switch it to Gas and then you can set a meter offset.
