Domoticz

Hi everyone,

I have a Tuya TS0601 thermostat valve - my pizigate (v1) does pick it up and provides me with three widgets in Domoticz. One of them is temperature (of the sensor in the valve) but stays at 0 degrees. I can see that the status is updated on a regular basis but the value in Domoticz doesn't change and stays at zero.

Does anyone have an idea on what might be wrong or what to try next? I have deleted the devices in Domoticz and paired the device again a few times already but without success.

I have updated the plugin to version 5.1.014 but with the same result unfortunately. I think the Tuya device is sending updates (not sure what data it is sending though) but they are not showing in Domoticz (other then the timestamp that is updated):

Can you try to remove All related widgets, and redo the pairing of the device

That did the trick! I can read the temperature now as well as the setpoint! Nice one:)

The timers that are provisioned by Domoticz for both setpoint and mode don't seem to work however....if i set a timer for setting a new setpoint it doesn't seem to change it on the TRV but when i change it manually on the widget then it does....

Any idea what could cause this?

If you set a Setpoint in Domoticz, is that updated on the TRV ?

Yes it is updated on the TRV if i set the new setpoint manually (meaning with the up/down arrows of the widget). If i use the timer function it will not update the temperature (not in the widget and not on the TRV).

The timer function is a pure Domoticz stuff. No clue how does it works.

Just as a follow up - been reading through other articles and setting timers requires a few minutes to initiate. If i set timers at least 5 minutes ahead then they have time to initialize and they work.

I have absolutely the same problem with Tuya TS0601 fan coil thermostat (this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003 ... 18025QFLdO)

I'm using the latest plugin and firmware form Zigate+. The plugin adds three widgets:

but there's no further communication in any direction.

I have tried to remove and add the device several times, but to no avail.

Is this type of thermostats supported by the plugin?

Don't know which version of the plugin you are, what is the Coordinator model you are using.

If you are on stable6 branch ( Version 6.1 ), please move to beta6 and redo the all pairing with the beta6.2.060

I have just found the solution: It looks it's just another manufacturer and I just had to add

"_TZE200_dzuqwsyg",

to

TUYA_THERMOSTAT_MANUFACTURER = (

in Modules/tuya.py
