Domoticz & Sonoff (without Tasmota)

Post by johan9610 »

Hello,

I found a way to control Sonoff device iFan2 with "Domoticz and a RFe433 transiever" and the Sonoff RF Bridge.
Both without any other firmware.

short discription:

I learned a remote controle unit to the Sonoff RF Bridge and als in Domoticz as a virtual switch.
In the eWlink app a made a scenarios as:
RF Button 1 than iFan LOW , RF Button 2 than iFan MEDIUM , RF Button 3 than iFan HIGH , RF Button 4 than iFan LIGHT.
When i press now on the virtual switch in Domoticz the iFan2 start working.

long discription:
I learned a remote controle unit to the Sonoff RF Bridge and als in Domoticz as a virtual switch.
- In Domoticz the where visible as type ARC N13/14 , M13/14 , O13/14 , P13/14 ( 13 is On , 14 is Off)
- The buttons where visible as BLINDS Button but the can be changed to BUTTON.
- The remote control sends out the signal repeatedly, this is not done from Domoticz. The solution is to do this via the URL.
- When using the the buttons of the Sonoff RF Bridge kan be programmed.

eWlink App:
I made several scenario's for all actions one.
- eWlink button1 = ARC N13 On = iFan2 OFF
- eWlink button2 = ARC N14 On = iFan2 LOW
- eWlink button3 = ARC M14 On = iFan2 MED
- eWlink button4 = ARC M14 On = iFan2 HIGH.
- Within Sonoff there are 2 switches for on/off. Within Domoticz 2 different codes are sent.

How to manage this in Domoticz?
As above i used 2 virtual switches as on/off. These switch i'll access with a 4-button virtual switch.
- Create in Domoticz a new virtual switch as type Selector switch.
- Manage this switch in the switches pages and edit it as below:

At the end i programmed the Sonoff RF Bridge with a code of a virtual switch ARC K 13 / 14.
Repeatedly i just hit with the mouse the url and then ENTER. ( for 3 to 4 time quickly after each other)
So it's possible to programm the buttons of a Sonoff RF bridge.

Take your advance with this explanation.
