I have two outside shutters (called rolluik in the Netherlands).
Electric, Somfy motor, the usual mechanical manual up/down switch. Very standard.
I am looking for a Domoticz control for it. I prefer Zigbee, or a Wifi solution, two way communication. RFlink is also available.
My requirements:
- supported by Domoticz
- reliable
- affordable, not hundreds of euro's
- not DIY hardware
- manual control still possible, may replace the manual switches
- close/open with the Domoticz timer, sunset etc.
- also half open or closed
- status available in dashboard (rules out KlikAanKlikUit for example, that is one way).
I have not seen something available yet I can just install.
What do you use or advise?

Re: Rolluik roller shutter
I use 4x shelly 2.5 devices for over a year, i am very happy with those devices. These are wifi devices, and all your wishes could be made with them. Maybe only the dashboard wish could be a thing. Don't know what your dashboard needs
There is a shelly plugin for domoticz, or make a nodered flow.

Re: Rolluik roller shutter
Im also using 6 shelly 2.5 devices for roller shutter here. Using them without any switches but using them with switches are also easy possible.
For full control incl. position control they prefer simple roller shutter motors with mechanical end-switches.
The implementation in domoticz is very easy with the shelly plugin for basic usage.
The actual status and controls can be on the domoticz dashboard (if you mean this with your req.)
For further automation it is possible to control them by scripts.

Re: Rolluik roller shutter
Maybe a bit late but I have solved this with the following hardware:
Zigbee In Wall Receiver QS-Zigbee-C01 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001785095467.html) placed above my ceiling
Physical Switch Wallpad (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32914337056.html) fitted in the ceiling so I can control my screens when the Pi is down.
Total cost per roller shutter about € 15,- not including wiring
The receiver is small and will fit inside a standard Dutch box (in Dutch: inbouwdoos). The switch should fit.
I have about 11 them installed. They work reliably and are easy to set up (you will need to adjust the opening and closing times according to the speed of the roller shutter motor and the length of the roller shutter)
So another option to think about

Re: Rolluik roller shutter
Undoubtedly but no experience there. I use them with a Conbee2 stick. Joining the network was instantaneous. It follows the Zigbee standard so I would expect no problems.
