MQTT reading/writing other topics

Use this forum to discuss possible implementation of a new feature before opening a ticket.
A developer shall edit the topic title with "[xxx]" where xxx is the id of the accompanying tracker id.
Duplicate posts about the same id. +1 posts are not allowed.

I think it would be nice to have an MQTT hardware entry that can can handle configured topics so it can communicate with existing other MQTT devices (tasmota, SBFSpot etc) and then a configurable translation table for all possible Domoticz devices. So no need to do extra Node-Red conversions.

I would expect a user defines 1 MQTT hardware per topic.

I do not know if I am asking for the impossible. Perhaps something like HomeAssistant autodiscovery

Devices/plugins: ZigbeeforDomoticz (with Xiaomi, Ikea, Tuya devices), Nefit Easy, Midea Airco, Omnik Solar, Goodwe Solar
