Domoticz Windows with one python plugin - how to set up?

Hello,

I'm quite new with Domoticz and need some help with basic (?) setup.
I want to set up Domoticz with one python plugin (Xiaomi Flora if it does matter) on Windows machine where I have other HA system (Homeseer) already running.

I've installed Domoticz on that machine and was able to run it.
Then I've installed python and everything was OK
I've installed the plugin by copying it to the plugin folder in the Domoticz directory (I had to create plugin folder), then started Domoticz, went to the Hardware section and created new - Xiaomi Flora was on the list.
But after I created that hardware, Domoticz stopped working.
When I try to run it again it starts, opens the browser tab for accessing the interface, but then it stops working.

I don't know where to look what's wrong and would appreciate any help.

I have other instance of Domoticz running with same plugin on Raspberry PI without issues, but there is no other HA system on that machine installed.

As far as I understood in case of raspberry the bluepy is needed to be installed to allow python access bluetooth, but bluepy doesn't run on Windows, and I've red that python 3.9 has bluetooth support implemented in it. But maybe here is the cause?

Did you install Python according the wiki: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Using_Pyt ... or_Windows

What version of Python did you install? I do not have a windows version but the newest version of Windows Python perhaps is not compatible yet.

I've had 3.9.4 installed, I think all options from Wiki were enabled, but I'm not sure.
Today I removed it and installed 3.8.9 (lucky guess, since I didn't find reasonable info which wersion works for sure) instead.

I've had following custom options:

- documentation
- pip
- tcl/tk and IDLE
- python test suite
- py launcher

(all set to enabled)

Then I've set advanced options as on Wiki.

Same result as before - Domoticz starts, opens the browser tab and stops

When starting Domoticz do you see something in the log like
Status: PluginSystem: Started, Python version '3.x.x'. ?
And first disable the plugin to be sure that the plugin is not the issue.

I've removed the plugin folder from domoticz/plugins directory and now it starts without issues.

So the plugin is causing the issue, but how to make it work?

This plugin needs the access to bluetooth, maybe here is the problem?

Maybe ask on the github repository of the plugin how this would work on a windows machine. Often plugins are build around an existing Python library and perhaps there are hints on that library github repository.

Github guides to this forum, I asked here in the thread about the plugin
